Sorry to let you down, expect it in the next couple of days (if the songs aligns together which it seems like it does)
@@boogyclips its ok take your time
Such a Genius way to compare the two versions! Love it.
Thank you! I have another few tracks I’ve done in this format if you want to check them out too
@@boogyclips Heck yeah! I checked out a few of them already!
Thank you!
into the music playlist you go
I miss the tympany from wii
For those curious about some changes, all MK8DX osts are recorded live with actual instruments, so my guess is they didn’t have a timpani player, and also they chose not to add on sfx during sound editing
the booster courses were all on a lower budget, so they used midi actually
@@bcsr16 Really? I do believe moonview was recorded but ig it's like 10 years later so they couldn't be bothered to keep the same quality
@@Riyoe yea no, they did remake the tracks but a lot of them are very obviously midi. take a listen to some of the tour tracks
@@bcsr16 ok yeah fair enough since tour tracks are pretty horrendous
No, no, all of them are live recorded
listening to this is somehow literally physically pushing my head to the right and I don't know how that works
lol what
The sound is heavier on the left. I get that too
@@joecool4656because of the timpani making the bass stronger yes
the only way i'm listening to this beautiful masterpiece
Absolutely love idea to mix the two
I originally found this by someone else on RUclips doing it, but they hadn’t done Wii Rainbow Road or some of the other fan favourites, so that’s what I’m going to be attempting to do
Brooooo, Nintendo really knows how to make us cry because of the Nostalgia!!!!
Me with only my right AirPod cause I lost the left one:
This comes to show you how far 8 Deluxe has grown throughout the last 10 years and it has been placed on throne as the best Mario Kart.
I will explain-
We have a wide variety of courses from past games and the new courses are very enjoyable to ride on. Courses like Cheese Land, Yoshi Valley, Rosalina’s Ice World, Daisy Cruiser, Moonview Highway, Waluigi Pinball, Bowser Castle 3, we now have every Mario Kart franchise having a Circuit course from that game, both of classic and iconic Rainbow Roads from the Wii, N64, and 3DS and so much more. This game has 96 courses.
The character roster has to be the best in the entire franchise. The original had not such of good roster, and then with the DLC and the updates they’ve done, this roster is stacked. This game has Funky Kong, Link, the Villagers from Animal Crossing, Petey, and freaking Wiggler.
The customization for Karts parts is insane, with over 8,000 possible choices for new players and competitive players alike to enjoy customize what parts are good and what look interesting for them.
Each course’s music and atmosphere fits their theme goes so hard for some reason. (Well maybe a few, lol). The nitros are so creative and they use the mechanics really good. And with the new mechanics of anti gravity, it makes the courses chaotic and insane to drive on. Absolutely fun a blast to drive on.
The Battle Mode got a HUGE revamped after what they had done to the original. An actual battle mode that is decently fun.
Smart Steering was a nice touch for newcomers who never even played Mario Kart. So it is perfect for people to play without falling off the course.
This game has evolved so much and I’m happy that I had became a Mario Kart veteran since the Wii era.
HALFPIPES RETURNED. (Not the greatest, but it is nice to have it in 8. It’s janky and it is silly of how the characters fly)
The physics are so realistic and very smooth to accelerate and by adding that Mario Kart feel. And the controls are so freaking smooth dude.
200cc exists……. :3
The item selection has so much variety and you can hold 2 items as once as you did from the Wii. The balance is actually how I wanted it to be. The mix between unfair and chaotic, but fair.
This game, 8DX is my favorite Mario Kart across the franchise. It’s kind of crazy that I’m even saying that because I had huge bias for the Wii lol. But ehh, comes to show you that nostalgia isn’t everything. 😅😅
If this doesn't play when I go to heaven... I'll I'll IDK...
Same
Not die
Amen break?
really good, make more of these, this is def the next way to compare music using stereo, thanks man!
Would love to, but I’ve got a lot of things going on so that won’t be for a while. However I have a bunch of videos already posted on my channel if you want to check those out!
Pure nostalgia ❤
This is fire!
I like this!!!
thank you!
❤❤❤❤❤❤ I like this video it’s cool

hi
Hello
Sixth
Hot take but I really don't like the mk8 version of the song. It sounds too a bit too electronic for my liking and for me removed what made it special for me which was these big grand, almost magical feeling sounds used in it (idk music words I don't do music)
Fair take, I’m the opposite though. I feel like they knew exactly what they were doing and made it feel like a orchestral version making it feel like a grand finale, however I feel like the new version is more in your face while the Wii original is more laid back. I just hope they continue doing new covers of songs from older games in MK9/10
I agree. In my opinion, Nintendo totally ruined the music for Wii Rainbow Road in "Mario Kart 8 deluxe," with it sounding too... Cosmicy? Idk how to even explain it. But in "Mario Kart Wii," the music for Rainbow Road is just so majestic, so beautiful, so lovely... It's literally my favorite "Mario Kart" music in the entire series.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is peak, but people dont want to admit it..
@@manin345, no it's not. "Mario Kart Wii" is peak... And then "Mario Kart 7" happened... Where the series hit rock bottom for me...
@@shadowmario-oh4nd classic blinded by nostalgia example. mk8dx is definitely the peak of mario kart, everything from the graphics to the live recorded music screams high quality and the gameplay is a lot less buggy and also just nicer overall. mkwii was a great game and mk8dx was a greater game.
