- Today's video features my latest Folding Hunter find, an Old Hickory 🇺🇸 (Ontario Knives) #611. This knife was made by Queen Cutlery under contact for Ontario Knives back in the 70s. The components of the knife are as follows:
5.25" overall length
4" clip and skinner blades
Blades are run in 440 Stainless Steel
Covers are faux wood (Delrin)
Nickel-silver bolsters
Brass pins and liners

I wish we had these finds at pawnshops here in Canada. I’ve seen some knives but not the extent you fine people find. To your point about knives being a tool, I have been using more of my knives lately, even my more expensive pieces. I’m with you on old tool look HT, I lightly cleaned my old Boy Scout knife .. and other old friends … I don’t want to rob the years of use from them … I like the snap of a clean and oiled user … that’s it ( other than keeping it sharp of course ).
