I have a white R3 (45g silent) and a black R2 (also 45g silent) side by side on my desk right now an compared them. The R3 feels a little bit smoother and less scratchy than the R2, but has the same tactility, even though the domes on the R2 are older. The sound of the R3 is more pleasant because it doesn't reverb as much from/inside the case as the R2. Both boards are excellent and I prefer them over any HHKB. Those are nuances between these 2 boards, but overall I prefer the R3 because its so smooth and still tactile, a thing I was missing from every HHKB I've tried recently. R3 > R2 > HHKB.
the R2 seems to have a deeper, quieter sound in this video. Is this because of the microphone placement?

Are they the same height?
R2 PFU sounds better than R3
Which one is better?
Both two have same tactility and sound. R3 is very similar feeling comparing PFU Edition R2. Considering R3 has bluetooth connection, I prefer R3.
