Hey, not related to this video but there’s two different type of thermostats for my 2011 Audi Q5, INZI or BEHR, how can I tell which one will fit my car?
Naptown , I appreciate your diligence in confirming that You have interior release cable installed. I do similar quality checks and after 20 years I still forget 2 or 3 a year. Keep up the great Audi vids. I was a GM guy forever but I gave up on them and now own a 2009 A5 and a 2014 A4 so Your like a all knowing shop foreman for Me.

Just like the front panels... hardest part is popping the panel free from the door (when they stick). It's a great design (easy panel to work with / on) compared to earlier generations or other manufacturers.
I either have a problem with my 2012 Q5 right rear door locking module or the door lock switches. The door lock switches, both in the rear, if pressed to unlock, will latch in that position, I suspected a faulty switch but both sides are like that. Your video was helpful, thanks.
Would have been nice if you would of slowed down during the lock module section and showed a closer look at the cables connection disconnect and reconnect (that part is different from the front door video), I could tell you wanted to rush through it, to get finished.
You are the Audi Wizard, do you happen to know what actually breaks in them, mine is intermittent...based upon winter or summer....could i take it out and fix it with lubing something vs dropping 250 on a new one?
There are two small DC motors inside the assembly. They wear out over time. If you are handy, you can open up the latch assembly and clean the existing motors or replace the motors altogether. Check eBay for the small DC motors. If all that sounds too much, just replace the whole thing.
Hi, I'm from the UK, I have a 2008 Audi A5 3.0 TDI Quattro 3dr Coupe. My passenger side outside door handle has no tension when pulling it to open the door. I've changed the door lock actuator last year but still doesnt work. It opens from the inside though. I'm wondering if its the smaller Bowden cable that hooks onto the door lock actuator to the outside handle. Any advice?
have this same issue, thx!......However my driver door won't open from the outside. lock cylinder works sill, inside handle still works but from outside i have to roll the window down with remote and reach in to open with inside latch. how can i fix that?

Awesome video! Helped me out a ton. Those screws on the side of the door holding the latch assembly aren’t Torx, they are Triple Square.

I bought some extra clips for the panel, just in case.

wow, you're so fast. i think i need that time only to remove the door panel lol. and on a4 b9, where they made it easier to take apart.

FYI, use original OEM, ordered one on Amazon for half the price, never worked , bought Audi it was plug and paly

On my b8 the right rear sometimes doesn't unlock and my driver rear never unlocks. Pain in my ass.
