Are you allowed to have a vegetable garden or plant fruit trees?

In most communities they do not allow that. It depends on the HOA. Reach out if you wish to discuss specifics. Great to have you here!

As a homeowner I would strongly advise anyone thinking of buying to do their research. BUYER BEWARE! Do a BBB Search of Kolter Signature Homes LLC. Roof Leaks, Defective Tile, Sink Holes, and the worst Sub-Contractors I have ever personally dealt with. I'll say it again, DO YOUR RESEARCH! BUYER BEWARE!

Yes. Everyone should do their homework. I have helped many families in Kolter Communities and almost all Prominent Builders in the area. I have not yet heard a compliant about Kolter. What happened with you?

@ If you haven’t heard a complaint about Kolter you’re not talking to the right people, or not asking the right questions. If you spend a few minutes online you can find a lot of Complaints from Buyers and Homeowners.
Including the $22 Million Dollar Settlement Kolter paid in a Class Action Lawsuit over Construction Defects
Search the BBB website and you’ll find more Complaints against Kolter.
I understand. You’re in the business of selling homes in these communities, Kolter & others. It’s easy to not see things that can complicate your work.
As far as my issues, I’ll just say this about one of the numerous issues I have.
I’ve lived in my new home for just over 3 years and prior to Closing Kolter was aware they installed Defective Tile that covers every inch of my home except the Primary Bathroom.
They failed to Disclose this, which itself may be a serious issue. But 3+ years later Kolter and their Tile Subcontractor, Heritage Carpet & Tile, have still not resolved this issue.
They refuse to let me speak to the Tile Manufacturer directly for two reasons. They do not want me to confirm the fact Kolter was aware the tile was defective before we Closed but failed to disclose it because they wanted to get our home Closed. And Kolter does not want me to know how much money the Manufacturer was going to pay Kolter and Heritage Carpet & Tile. Because knowing that amount will mean I will have proof that they were cutting big corners on the work so they could pocket more money. A lot more money!
Every Builder in Westlake is required to use Heritage Carpet and Tile. They obviously have an in with Minto that helped them land this arrangement
The problem is, if I do a search on the Private Facebook page for Westlake homeowners for “Construction Issues”, there are too many posts to count of Homeowners who have had issues with Heritage Carpet & Tile. It is beyond my comprehension how a Subcontractor like Heritage Carpet and Tile is in business! They’re unprofessional in every way imaginable!
If I had to venture a guess, I expect there will be at least one Class Action Lawsuit against Kolter over Construction Defects in Cresswind Palm Beach. Not to mention individual lawsuits.
Do your homework! Take off your business blinders and do some research on your own.
I will say I do love my community. But it’s because of the friends we’ve made here. It’s not because of the work Kolter does. If we didn’t love the people we would have been gone.
And don’t be fooled by the great Customer Survey Results you may see Kolter talk about. I’ve spoken to at least a dozen Homeowners in the first year and a half living here who said they were paid money to give Kolter high scores on their Surveys.
Each of them said they were told by the Kolter Staff on site that their Bonus was tied to the Survey Scores. So when offered money in exchange for good scores they gladly accepted.
