love how the in-game audio sounds so crystal clear and perfect for all the perspectives and then it switches to Colton's and it sounds like you're just watching actual bodycam footage of some guy fighting for his life
The fact that when you switch to Colton he almost always shanks someone with a knife, and that his sound is muffled, just makes it look like while you are playing, he is trying to survive in London with a bodycam.
Every gaming group has a Marcus. You love him to death, but then he's alt tabbed watching RUclips or jumping off the map and causing a reset on a mission and you have to resist the urge to unleash the unmatched power of the sun on him. Anyone who has played games with a party/crew of any kind knows what I'm talking about.
Even as these subsequent GTFO vids get less views on release - I still love seeing them pop up in my notifs! They're super engaging for a first time watch; and even after multiple viewings are awesome background audio when playing games ^^
you are so right, this is at least my third watch of the 3rd video and I would always rewatch the 1st and 2nd before rewatching the 3rd so i really don't know how many times I've watched these GTFO vids even if I don't really play fps games Also I think Spigg and his friends' interactions are the main reason why these are so rewatchable Just friends screwing around in a serious environment lmao
Don't think you guys noticed this, in R8B3 after hearing Henriksson talks about sabotaging Schaeffer, in Zone109 you can find a bloodied pipe and Henriksson ID Badge also bloodied, fueling the idea that Schaeffer beat him to death with a bloody pipe. I also would like to add that Dauda is NOT technically a prisoner, he was an employee for the company to experiment with the virus in the mine and other pharmaceuticals that the employees were subjected to. He, like Schaeffer and Henriksson, hid in one of the HSUs to survive the virus and was added to the Legion team you play as.
Idk if this makes any sense in a GTFO context but I'd really like the Warden to reveal his voice in the final mission and its Simon Viklund saying shit like "Guys, the Data Cubes, go get em"
Alright gang, got a simple one for you. Go in, get the Data Cubes, and get the fuck out. We can do it quiet, or go in guns blazing. I'll have Twitch swing by to pick you up. Let's do it.
man, recently life hasn't been to kind on me lately, but your watching your videos feels like such a necessary break sometimes. thank you spiff, plink.
Tides push forward as much as they pull back, stay strong and you will pull through and push back harder against life that challenges you. keep strong friend.
This is just a guess, but the audio log at 1:05:55 might be a reference to the first creation of a mother/broodmother(or maybe just the process of how one is made). She seems to be sick with the virus and supposedly needs to cut something out, which the mothers have that open stomach so that's where my speculation comes from
Tbh I now think that _maybe_ the woman in that log is the gigantic queen Mother boss in R8D2 and possibly the person discussed in like the first GTFO video where a voice log says "she was a breath of fresh air, until she wasn't" I mean the boss correlation is probably just headcanon and there's nothing to proove it but the 2nd thing Im more sure about
The Shaffer being ai or real one is just the "me watching as I'm sentence to death due to a 1 minute 45 second highly detailed ai video of me committing a crime(i wasn't even near the crime scene)" meme
if there’s ever another episode of this i’d love to see more edits like 1:19:34 and 1:42:40 it was so cool seeing them work together like that to clear the room, simultaneously
Spiff claiming revive man and arguing about it screams old school black ops zombies where someone would grab quick revive and would be the dedicated medic
How do you pump out these long ass highly edited videos so consistently?? There has to be some Spiff brand cocaine or something you're on while editing these, good shit man
Fun Fact: GTFO only has a list of 732 Passwords, you can brute force them all given enough time. I even made a spreadsheet that lets you filter by what characters you have found for possible guesses. With _ RU _ there was only 3 possible passwords. Drug, Drum and True. (Today I learnt if you put two underscores either side of text in a comment _it italics them_ ) R8B4 Secondary Truly is one of the hardest things in the game, and you managed to do it before they nerfed the Main Trigger Error wave to be slightly more managable. R8C2 has really cool story implications and I love the vibe of the level, but its pretty much, just do a whole lotta shit fest and ends up being kinda boring. Excited to see the journey towards the end of Rundown 8 as always!
Man, this game is INSANE. The difficulty, the créatures, the sounds design that makes everything so... heavy? I wouldnt be able to play this, I am way too bad at FPS. But you guys are a crew that just makes a plan, mostly stick to it and stick to each other. It's so cool. Great edit video and I wish you guys to succeed.
Yeah, my favorite sound has to be the fact that the machine gun straight up takes a breath after each volley. Such a unique detail to add to a weapon that otherwise just seems like a generic heavy rifle with a cool sight.
RUclips’s auto compression absolutely crunches this video, I mean had a field day, little tiny numbers in the middle of the scans? Looks like I’m at an eye exam trying to read 5/20 letters on the wall. But this video absolutely fucks, I love you spiff, and I love your videos. You make some great GTFO content, please keep it up.
1:19:33 I love the all 4 perspectives edit. these videos are the best (as a person who couldn't get together a team to play the fricken game for a year+ now). Amazing stuff!
Spiff, I am really grateful for this series. I'm not a skilled gamer and don't have a group to play with, so I don't think I'll ever play this game, which is a shame, because the story seems really interesting. Thank you for allowing us to experience it.
Same! There's a lot of games like this I'd otherwise never get a chance to experience due to lack of friends or skill. I mean, I'm not *bad*, but these games clearly require some impressive practice and talent :P
I commend you on your storytelling skills. I have zero interest in this game. Will never play it, have no desire to play it, yet you have made it interesting enough to watch the four of you progress through the missions, and how you recount the story is very interesting. Thank you for the update to the epic the four of you are going through. I can't wait to see how it ends.
i've been anticipating this more than anything else ever since i first started watching you play GTFO, you got me into the game as i bought it and experienced it myself; genuinely the most immersive game i played for what it does also those lil character drawings are so cute and silly
easily the most captivating of a series ive seen in months at least on any platform. your editing and commentary really make this interesting yet dense game digestible. i cant wait for the finale
Genuinely so amazed by ur guys perseverance each level looks more impossible than the last and yet you guys always find a way and it is so hype when you guys finish a section
One tip I’d give is don’t do a full burst. That wastes cummies. Instead, you can do a half-burst and then tap until the foam hardens. That saves a bunch of time
I was studying microbiology when I came across a "Glucagon-like peptide-1" or GLP-1 for short. It's a hormone that interacts with our body's energy storing systems such as insulin regulation. I immediately thought of B3 secondary. It seems weird why the warden would need canisters of the stuff, unless it's actually something else.
8:10 And that leaves Woods as Takeo! Which does make sense, seeing that they are both focused on following their higher ups. (Takeo mentions the Japanese Dictator a lot in BO3Z and Woods mentions God being part of his backstory.)
This is my favorite thing you're doing at the moment. Don't get me wrong all your vids are great but WOW these are next level. I've always been interested in GTFO but knew it wasn't really a game for me or my friend group, and it's hard to find good videos about it so you are filling a VERY NECESSARY niche here. Can't wait for the final part!!!
Good stuff Spiff, Glad to see those neat cinematic shots! Really elevates the video to another level. (this will be my background video for work tomorrow!)
Its really fun watching the full rundown experience, I play the game with only 1 other friend and get stuck with 2 bots, so experiencing the last rundown will not be possible for us. we already bottleneck on perma alarm missions, though those tend to be the final mission of each rundown, so we have cleared a good amount of the game.
I was so excited when I saw this had come out. The story has me in a chokehold and I'm excited for the final episode! Thanks for making such fabulous content!
Damn, man. I did not expect you, of all people, to get invested in the story like this. You also are really good at retelling/presenting the story in a compelling way as well, even if we missed like the first 60% of it since we didn't experience rundowns 1-6. Plus, your editing is really good and funny. Can't wait for the last one!
i just wanna say while i've heard of this game before these videos have actually made me try out the game for myself with a few of my friends and its been great, been really enjoying this game so far although i've only completed the first 3 missions of rundown 1 so far

I'm so excited to see this video drop!!! I've been checking your channel for this video everyday for a few weeks. Thanks for all the work you put into making it!
I love the GTFO vids, not really able to play it intensely myself due to the fact that none of my friends want to buy it, I can't wait for the next video!
1:19:00 Rn I don't have a powerful PC. But hopefully this difficulty doesn't get patch I really love this types of games that required a previous plan. Really love the editing and the perseverance of y'all great content
36:45 it took me like 3 times listening to this video to realize that "stay within the circle" was sung to the same melody as "elephants have wrinkles," one of the most random childrens songs ever
the story is getting more and more intense. definitely rewatched part 1 and 2 before watching this one just because the whole series is great, will most likely rewatch all 3 parts again when part 4 comes out
Really love this game and appreciate your videos on it! I know ALOT of effort goes into editing 4 perspectives so i must emphasize how much i genuinely enjoy these GTFO videos, i've already watched part 1 and 2 several times when while doing other work lol. On another note, the group i'm playing with is currently trying to beat r2e1 (we already have like 15 hours on that mission alone xD) which we will hopefully beat soon. Also regarding the charger scouts, to stealth kill them without c-foam you need 2 people with either hammers or spears to hit the back at the same time (they have 60 hp, back-hit with hammer does 40 dmg, 35 with spear), this is mentioned in the wiki as well so i'm not sure if you guys were looking at a different wiki or if it was misunderstanding. Anyways, GL on beating the last 2 missions of GTFO, i cant imagine what hell awaits you guys (and eventually also my group lmao), but it will all be worth it in the end.
Hey spingle, I know I’m late but I just wanted to say that I love this series. It’s sad that it doesn’t get as many views, but I love unwrapping this story like a movie series. Dying for part 4 ❤
I don't usually comment and rarely watch these kinds of games; but, I gave GTFO a shot because I was interested in seeing Spiff in a setting I don't usually see. Now I'm super intrigued with the interesting story in such a shootyshooty game. The shenanigans between you 4 is also silly alongside the much more intense and focused cooperation. Poor Marcus trapping himself in the void. He was just trying to help lol. Another cool example of gaming communities and fans working together to solve puzzles and challenging objectives. A very cool series you shared with us!

the story is getting more and more intense. definitely rewatched part 1 and 2 before watching this one just because the whole series is great, will most likely rewatch all 3 parts again when part 4 comes out
Really love this game and appreciate your videos on it!
Yesss can’t wait to watch this! This has been my favorite series you’ve ever done. Looking forward to the next one
Looking forward to part 4 when everyone gets around to it
Hey spingle, I know I’m late but I just wanted to say that I love this series.
YAYYYY ANOTHER GTFO VIDEO I LOVE THESE
Just saving my place, 53:44- probably the point i fell asleep
