lol, no idea - he's been around the UKHH scene for over 15 years now! Probably best known for being 1 half of Task Force (the other being his brother Farma G) but Chester has helped build the foundations of the Hip-Hop scene in the UK, along with the likes of Phi-Life Cypher, Braintax, Jehst, Mystro, Aspects, etc who took the baton from the likes of Gunshot, MC Mell O, Hi-Jack, and, of course, London Posse (& Rodney P, altho he's still going strong). Chester is a legend (although I'm sure he is far too humble to admit it). If you ask me tho, it's guys like Chester who've taken US Hip-Hop and, whilst the influences are clear, have helped define a niche UK sound. UK Hip-Hop (& I ain't talking Grime necessarily) is distinctly multi-cultural, raw, witty, intelligent & thought provoking and yet, at times, self-deprecating and humorous. Chester and Task Force have helped define all those things over the years. The fact you've never heard of him before, & were compelled to comment only proves further that his status is well-earned and there's not a bandwagon in sight!

I live in Indiana- a world away. In 2004 My dad bought this Cadillac from a friends parents after said friend had just died. There’s one burnt CD in the 5 disc changer in the trunk of this car- with the words *DJ Louis Slipperz £10 Bag Vol. II* written on it. Remember that moment in pulp fiction when travolta opens the brief case and his face is flooded with the golden glow coming out the case? Thats kinda how it felt….didn’t know what I had, or how special it was….it just had me kinda stunned.
When you see these insane videos of super talented people who can do stuff like tight rope walk on their hands whilst juggling with their feet, that's what his ability is like when he's rhyming. And he writes so complex its like a super detailed piece of art you can comb through again and again. So insane.

Then it was a fairly intimate performance to only about 30-50 people. My friend and I had been fans of his since Task Force days so was thrilled to see he was performing in our home town. Was so good!

For eg that opening line is so vivid, "there's vultures in all the branches enhancing the morning flares". That's poetry, painting pictures. So much depth too, lines like "the great secrets of life are trapped inside of us".
