Gavin McClurg currently holds the North American foot launch record, is a 2015 National Geographic “Adventurer of the Year” for his paragliding traverse of the Canadian Rockies with Will Gadd, is the only person to traverse the full length of the Alaskan Range by foot and paraglider, and is a 3-time Red Bull X-Alps competitor. In 2015, he became the first American to reach goal in the history of the X-Alps. Gavin hosts the popular free-flight podcast Cloudbase Mayhem, which offers insights, stories, and tips from our sports’ top pilots. Gavin has twice circumnavigated the world by sail.
