Scar's weirdly good at not dying when the odds are majorly stacked against him. ...a shame he's also really good at dying stupidly when everything's fine.
Joel is really the MVP when it comes to caring about the reds. He’s the reason most people realized Lizzie died, he told everyone off for holding Jimmy’s funeral early, and he actually told Martyn to leave when they were fighting the wither so they wouldn’t lose anyone else.
This episode must’ve been horrible for Joel. One of his mounders gets to yellow, another one of the mounders went to red then permadied, and he had to kill Scott but failed and that led to his wife being the first one out
The glich in the matrix ending of Lizzie falling, falling, falling. Almost like her death hasn’t really happened yet to allow for Jimmy dying first. Trying to hold on to the canary curse.
What if Lizzie is an envoy from some entity trying to defy the watchers and end the death games? She broke the curse by sacrificing herself, and next series she'll continue with her plan to dismantle the rules of the game secretly. It would also explain why she didn't ally with anyone. Of course this is all just a fandom silly way to interpret content
Joel rounding on Grian after Jimmy and Mumbo got out was so good, and also so sad in such a short period of time. And BigB and Scar reacting to the Warden appearing was fantastic XD

I'm kinda excited to see what lore people come up with for Lizzie's ending. People are already calling her the new Canary, some think Martyn somehow broke Jimmy's so the watchers picked another, but, and especially because of this animatic, I wonder if people are going to associate her ending in the end with things. People already associate the end with Watchers so it will be interesting to see if Lizzie embraces the watcher lore or if anything carries over to when/if another life series, or something similar, comes out.
I kinda hope that does and doesn't happen because if she is connected to watcher lore then MAYBE she'll be in future life series. But if she brings it over to other series then I'll have to study the watcher lore. And all I know about it is that it goes REALLY deep.
I've said this before, but in the very first season of the life series, Scott and Jimmy were teamed up and as we know, Jimmy is always out first and Scott always plays with the victors. But in the first season, Scott's Victory Blessing was cancelled out by Jimmy's Canary Curse. Now, Lizzie- who was trying to assassinate SCOTT- was killed by Scott's Victory Blessing, thus cancelling out Jimmy's Canary Curse. It's come full circle boys. This isn't Martyn's doing, this is Scott. Scott has finally given Jimmy some form of what he gave Pearl and Martyn.
I think jimmy's cursed isn't lifted, he died the second yes, but he was the first to die in front of everyone. Lizzy's death was cold and alone, only witnessed by Scott and the endermens. Jimmy role as the canary is to announce death is coming, and peoples are starting to get out, while lizzy was left to rot in the endless void, dead, lost and forgotten, even the ones who cared about her the most took a long time to notice that she was, in fact, gone.
You read my mind with that final shot. Lizzie technically isn't dead, or wasn't until much later. The Void is canonically just an endless abyss, nothing going on for infinity. Lizzie could've survived off of her food and hearts for several minutes, possibly even make it past Jimmy and Mumbo's deaths. If the Watcher's so choose, Jimmy's curse could still be binding.
By now Scar's killed pretty much everyone. The only other person in the world is Lizzie... They're stuck like this forever and they can't do anything about it

I have no idea how Scar survived. I mean, I love the guy, but he's SCAR. He's known for dying so many times in the dumbest ways possible, he's danger prone AF. Yet somehow he was able to stay alive having that wither chase him for like 10min or more. I need to watch his POV to see if he even lost that many hearts.

One of my favourite parts of this episode is when Joel had such a hatred for scott because scott made him fail his task, and scott was the last person with Lizzie when she died, and Joel tried to kill scott when the wither was chasing scott. Im also surprised that when jimmy was chasing scott around wasn't in here.
Cleo’s task that the whole server knew wasn’t in here either, and well as Bdubs and Skizz’s deaths that weren’t wither related. A lot happened this episode, it makes sense some things got cut for time. (But that was also one of my favorite parts. Jimmy screaming “the florist sends his regards” never gets old.)
Scar is just so perfect with the freakout and falling over, I am so surprised he didn't lose a life or many hearts running from the Wither, Mumbo falling down and the lightning is perfect!! So ominous with that ending with Lizzie falling down, watcher glitching
Honestly I’m thinking this might be the season where scar wins. Even with all this chaos he still has almost full hearts on his first life, and it’s obvious he’s improved since third life

Joel’s task to kill Scott having Jimmy chasing him the whole episode and later being the reason Lizzie died, Cleo not knowing her own task. This episode was insane!! Loved the sound editing on Grian’s voice that you did, it sounds really cool.
I like the idea that the watchers who didn't want the canary curse broken moved Lizzie to another realm or dimension to keep her alive. But since she was no longer in the server she was technicaly dead. So they accelerated Jimmy's death to compensate

But not much happened when Lizzie died compared to when Jimmy died. I think the least eventful Jimmy elimination was double life, but in that one Tango was eliminated as well. When Lizzie died only Scott could see it happen. And from Scott's POV the death came out of nowhere.
I think it just means that people are just going to continue to draw Jimmy with canary wings, since now his death is much more symbolic to doom being imminent than just dying first. You don't necessarily have to be the first to die for Doom to be imminent, given that Jimmy was the first to die.

I was about to leave some silly comment about how the amazing facial expressions you draw in these (my favourites are Joel's face while Jimmy dances around him celebrating and BigB's wide-eyed reactions as he spots the Wither). I was not prepared for that ending. Oh my. The end is near, isn't it.

MY THEORY OF THE CANARY CURSE: The curse hasn’t really been passed to lizzy, it hasn’t ended, and scott wasn’t the victor’s revenge. Canaries were used in the mines to WARN miners of the toxicity and danger coming in the mine. Jimmy was the WARNING once again, just like in the previous series. The moment he died chaos ensued. It was kind of dull until then. He was the warning to the new era. The more devastating, chaotic, unhinged era. Therefore, the curse continues. Lizzie? I’d like to say she watched. :)
I still think its crazy how Joel sent Lizzie, Jimmy and Mumbo to kill Scott and they ALL died! like the lore possibilities with that paired with the fact that Scotts allies always win is CRAZY!
What I love most about this episode is that Scar was just about to tell Grian how he's starting to feel unhinged as Grian and Etho are in the middle of doing possibly the most unhinged thing you can do in a series with no regen.
0:13 that part made me a little because of the whole thing… like you watch your best friend die in lava and when you try to save them you fail and now they’re dead all you can do is place a ladder hoping that even though you saw them die they’ll come climbing out.

Ah yesss, I love all the moments you captured from episode 6! Jimmy's twirl around Joel was so funny! I loved all the environment elements you include in this one too. The Warden crawling up the hill, the rocks Scar was weaving around as the Wither chased him, the lightning strikes, and the fenceposts Mumbo got tripped up by. Also that ending? That was so cool! Amazing work!

DUUUDDE!! THE LORE! Holy buckets the canary curse still prevails. When Lizzie fell into the void, an endless nothing, I beleive Lizzie didnt actually die till she logged out of the server at the end of the session. So when she fell, the Watchers immediately did everything in their power to kill Jimmy before the end of the session. And well, it only took 10 minutes. Same thing happened on his second life. When Martyn was the first to become red, the Watchers saw this and possed that dragon to turn straight around for Jimmy.
ok but someone should make a compilation of grian witnessing his friends' deaths in the life series because it happens a lot and it's sad and i kinda enjoy sadness. in a way. i guess.

You never fail to choose the best moments and animate them wonderfully!! 🤌 I was cracking up while watching Scar just helplessly running with his sad little pleas for help as the wither literally ONLY went after him- its so great to see this animated, the scene was captured perfectly- 😭 I was NOT expecting that end scene though! Talk about a tone shift! It was a shocker to see Lizzy out first, and I can't wait to see all these angsty animations come from it and watcher lore... o-o

MY THEORY OF THE CANARY CURSE:
The curse hasn’t really been passed to lizzy, it hasn’t ended, and scott wasn’t the victor’s revenge.
Canaries were used in the mines to WARN miners of the toxicity and danger coming in the mine.
Jimmy was the WARNING once again, just like in the previous series. The moment he died chaos ensued. It was kind of dull until then. He was the warning to the new era. The more devastating, chaotic, unhinged era. Therefore, the curse continues.
Lizzie? I’d like to say she watched. :)
Awesome animatic! Session 6 was so chaotic, absolutely loved Grians POV of the warden running towards them with Scar blissfully unaware haha
I still think its crazy how Joel sent Lizzie, Jimmy and Mumbo to kill Scott and they ALL died! like the lore possibilities with that paired with the fact that Scotts allies always win is CRAZY!
What I love most about this episode is that Scar was just about to tell Grian how he's starting to feel unhinged as Grian and Etho are in the middle of doing possibly the most unhinged thing you can do in a series with no regen.
I love that every life series animator just unanimously agrees that Rubedo is the Watcher theme
0:13 that part made me a little because of the whole thing… like you watch your best friend die in lava and when you try to save them you fail and now they’re dead all you can do is place a ladder hoping that even though you saw them die they’ll come climbing out.

Ah yesss, I love all the moments you captured from episode 6! Jimmy's twirl around Joel was so funny! I loved all the environment elements you include in this one too. The Warden crawling up the hill, the rocks Scar was weaving around as the Wither chased him, the lightning strikes, and the fenceposts Mumbo got tripped up by. Also that ending? That was so cool! Amazing work!

I was watching the end screen of Lizzie falling for like 20 seconds hoping it would end with "wait, why didn't I use the pearl?!"
Cleo is basically the mother figure on this series...
DUUUDDE!! THE LORE! Holy buckets the canary curse still prevails. When Lizzie fell into the void, an endless nothing, I beleive Lizzie didnt actually die till she logged out of the server at the end of the session. So when she fell, the Watchers immediately did everything in their power to kill Jimmy before the end of the session. And well, it only took 10 minutes.
Same thing happened on his second life. When Martyn was the first to become red, the Watchers saw this and possed that dragon to turn straight around for Jimmy.
