关于数字翻译从中文到英文，的确是有一个脑筋大转弯的过程。其实最简单的方法就是认清楚，美国的数字观念是千进位的，中国的数字关键是百进位。所以中文中要10个亿才是英文里的billion。
中国的进制是万进位，不是百进位。你想想看:个，十，百，千，万，然后十万。英语里没有万，只有十千。所以从小对大树按三位分段表示不解，这明明是千进位的习惯。中文语境下，大数按四位分段就很好读了，试试看！
