It's great to see that love changed them both for good: offered them a new perspective of the world (people are not black or white, but grey) and prompted them to make sacrifices (Elise letting Eryka go after 'One more night' when she could have easily arrested her / Eryka making a deal with her superiors to save Elise from The Chemist when she could have easily let her die). If this is not love, I don't know what is.

This is my first introduction to the actress Laura de Boer, she is superb as Eyrka and the evolving relationship with Elise (Clemence Poesy) is sizzling. The Tunnel series is exceptionally well acted, written and directed. As a PBS subscriber I have seen everything up to Season 2 Episode 7, I am looking forward to Episode 8 and the 3rd Season. I am not sure why I am so attracted to Eryka and Elise relationship, whether it is like"first love"; the emotional needs that each satisfies in the other; their contrasting physical beauty; the difficulty in maintaining their love; forbidden love; etc....I do want to see more and hopefully Eryka will survive to be in Season 3.

Laura de Boer reminds me SO much of Natalie Portman. I really love her acting style. Eryka and Elise are perfect together. Hope the third series reunites them. I understand that the third series will be the final series with just 6 episodes in 2018.

Can the directors and script writer stop writing amazing same sex couple, and make believe such relationship happen in real life 🤷 even if friends have connection it won't change to sexual encounter, there is similarities with killing eve and tunnel, villanene also kills, eryka kill more people but, can't bear to hate her, she love Elise so much, so much love bet these 2 person
