I love my local Amazon bin store. I've gotten alot to sell on Ebay there and for personal use. I've found the best day for high resellable items is Friday the first day of new bins. Day three is still good for bread and butter items to resell. After that I find it's just low quality junk not worth buying. It has also been a great place to buy shipping supplies ( bubble mailers, polymailers and small bulk boxes).
What do you mean by typing things in to the thredup website before sending in? This was so fun! Had to look up if there were any Clothes Mentors near me, one is kinda far but doable, I've never tried - just Plato's. Glad you did so well before even listing! The Lilly stuff was so cute! Those are the prettiest Nobulls!
So before wasting my time sending them brands they don't take, I go to the website and click clean outs - there is a text bar you can type the brand name in and it tells you if it is accepted or not :)
Your BST stores are so awesome because the ones near me are not good. They do not take a lot of good stuff, and I see stuff in the store that looks a lot worse than anything I would even take in to trade. Great video!!
I wish we had Once Upon a Child, Style Encore and Plato’s around here. We don’t have any of those places here. We only have a couple places that take a few items on consignment.
I still love bulk boxes and will still buy them. In fact, I have another kid’s box on the way:-) I just wish I had a way to offload the not so nice brands easier:-) I sent a couple boxes of various items back into Thredup for the partner kit for Gap and only received a dollar or two for each box:-(
@@angelahurt-bq9mo I have read a TON of posts on the various thredup groups that in February things went insane - I even sent a parter kit and had them only take 10%, when I have NEVER had them take less than 80%!! And everyone is reporting the same. I sent one off today and if it pays out as awful as the last I will take a break. I was going pretty well on the total junk I was sending them back haha.
@@AmandaPruitt I didn’t send any junk. There were even a few new with tags items in the boxes. None of the items were on the list of brands that they don’t take and all were in good condition. The first box, they took one Vans shirt and gave me about a dollar. The second box,they took three items I think and gave me $2.50, I believe. It was really disappointing. I have seen all these videos,where people get all this credit to Gap or wherever and I got practically nothing. I’m not sending them in again.
The kids box has steadily become my favorite...so much so that I've gotten 3 this year already, lol!! I saw them come up yesterday and had to stop myself since I haven't even taken the last round to BST yet! But I'm going to use your link now and sign up for kidizen and list perfectly so hopefully I can move more of this and order more hah ha ha!!!

Started as a small grass roots event my friend started. Been going on a few times a year for the last maybe 4 years. There’s a post I can tag you on that explains it better. Long story short you tag all items, the people who signed up buy at least 1 item during the week. I made 5 sales on the app yesterday, usually I make that in a week there 😂 so it’s an excuse to save your kid bucks and shop the next event. The schedule is already up for the other two this year.
I'm in Orlando so I'm familiar with a lot of these BTS locations - woof, that new Style Encore does not seem great. The brands and styles they seem to like are super questionable. They are pricing JLo clothes and shoes as if they are desirable...I think her brand is sold at Kohl's? Also, I've sold to them twice, the first time they bought a ton and the second they were super picky. They wouldn't give me a detailed quote either time, I don't know if they don't know how to do it or just don't want to, but that's not promising - even non-resellers will want to know what they are getting for specific pieces. I was hoping this would be an improvement on the old East Colonial location but so far I'm disappointed...
Awe man that’s sad to hear! It looked nice and ready to shop but they wouldn’t let me look around that day. I’ve not been back to actually shop. And JLo is definitely sold at kohls 🤣 when I asked for just a normal receipt for selling, not even a breakdown, she looked at me like I was crazy.

I went back on $5 day and grabbed a few things I saw on Friday but wasnt worth $10. I will definitely go back but my hubby said nah hes good haha.

Awe man! I would say bulk boxes COULD still be worth it in those cases but only if you need inventory and are willing to list it all.
