I find joy in nature and being present. As I fell fast asleep peaceful, i thank you. With this video, before leaving early this morning to start the new week, I woke in the darkness, and I believe your birds woke with our birds here. They sang together in sweet harmony. Such is life. While you were pressing the flowers, I thought of the French perfumery practice of enfleurage. It was invented in Grasse, France in 1750. Fresh, very fragrant flowers such as roses, peonies, and lilacs are placed upon a pane of glass that has been smeared with a fat and then pressed between another pane of glass and weighted down. In the past, lard or tallow were used, but now more neutral fats such as shea butter or coconut oil are used instead. The flowers infuse the fat with their fragrances creating pomades. Maybe this would be a good segment for you.
