CHRONICALLY HEALED: How Kiki Overcame Illness POTS and Lyme Disease: Marijuana and the Grace of God!

- After being sick for 10 years, I am now alive healthy and thriving!
My healing journey was non-linear. Watch my full story to get the most out of what I learned from living with and overcoming a chronic illness.
I was diagnosed with Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS aka Dysautonomia), Lyme disease, and Babesia.
My symptoms were feeling faint (chronic pre-syncope), low blood pressure (hypotension), low blood volume (hypovolemia), nausea and stomach pain, chronic fatigue, insomnia, anxiety, social anxiety, cold hands and feet (cold extremities), sensitivities, brain fog, TMJ, neck pain, and more.
The treatments that helped me were:
- Biofeedback therapy (InnerBalance by HeartMath)
- Jugular Venoplasty (Transvascular Autonomic Modulation surgery)
- NUCCA Chiropractic
- TMJ Orthodontic Treatment

- Medical Marijuana THC
BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY, none of these treatments would have helped if my heart was not open to receive healing. Spiritual and emotional health are interconnected to physical health. IT WAS ESSENTIAL for me to be healed spiritually before I could be healed physically.
As I grew closer in my relationship with Jesus, I grew closer to his healing. He healed my soul and strengthened me to be the overcomer God created me to be!

Thank you for sharing your story. I was diagnosed with Lyme and Epstein Barr virus and for the last 5 years have been battling. Your message gives me hope and I too believe God is our healer and sometimes can use different ways to bring healing to us.

This is so hard to watch, done a lot of things you’ve done, I’m too complex for all drs, lot of similarities but differences, drs have quit on me, refused me, treated me horribly, told me I’m too complex, even counselors at this point, I turned to God during this time but instead of getting closer to him, it’s pulled me farther apart and I feel I’m losing my faith thru all this, I have tried natural drs, a few anyway but they quit on me, I have been dx’d with EDS, pots, mast cell activation syndrome, mold, tons of sensitivities to foods and chemicals, more than likely endometriosis but they can’t go into check due to other surgeries I’ve had, endocrine system is now flipping out, ate healthy for 2 solid yrs thru my severe tmj but couldn’t get calories in me or something has been sucking the life out of me, I became dangerously deficient in everything and also became a skeleton in the process, I was forced to eat garbage food again just to get calories, I was starving to death, now that has added more symptoms, not in a good place, this has been a 7 yr journey now, tried to find help thru mmj, no help, chronic pain, very little sleep, bedridden most of time, isolation, getting more depressed and hopeless each day, never been able to connect with god thru out this though I’ve tried, I don’t get it, my brain has changed thru all the trauma of what I’ve been thru, memory has also been severely impaired, glad you got better but I feel there’s no hope for me 😢
I know it's hard. I've been brushed off by countless doctors and tried countless unhelpful treatments. Keep hanging in there and moving forward
Chronically Healed not sure how to move foreword when the world is the state it’s in and no Drs will take me, don’t have the support to do this anymore
Where do you live? Are you apart of any facebook groups with your conditions in your area? They will be able to recommend a doctor who will take you.
Chronically Healed illinois and been there done that, my situation is complex, yes on groups, yes on drs, I’ve had one leave me or quit on me after another
That's tough, I know how hard it is to find good doctors, I've had so many tell me to just go home. Most chronic illnesses are very complex. Do you have Lyme?
