Coming off of a year that saw Armin van Buuren receive a Grammy nomination and several platinum awards for ‘This Is What It Feels Like’, a world tour that reached over 500,000 visitors across 5 continents, and a slew of other prestigious awards - what could be next for the man fueled by an undying passion for trance, Armin van Buuren? Never one to rest on his laurels, Armin has constantly sought to expand and build upon the genre he helped define, opening up new worlds for not only himself, but also for his fellow performers and of course, audiences around the world. A quick glance at recent tour photos reveals the new scale of the A State of Trance experience, especially when compared to the humble beginnings of it all so many years ago. Been listening to Armin since 2002-2003...
The bassline, especially at the first minute, heavily resembles the "Rising Star" remix of Burned with Desire...
I can see where people see the resemblance of Photographer's Airport, which I hear it too... but hey, it's not a bad thing. I like Photographer's stuff, and it's decent trance.
The synth used in Safe Inside You is very "chainsaw" like... probably using the chainsaw sin wave.... definitely reminds me of 2000-2005 era stuff.

Photographer airport that's some tune, only heard the original when armin mixed it with shivers, ( which was fukin awesome just not long enough) but yea airport ... Waw that song is a beaut!

I produce like this so no sidechain or anything, but I take things further. I make it more authentic by using plugin emulators of 90s hardware like TR909, JP8000 and TB-303, along with vintage compressors, limiters and eqs, as well as tape saturation and vinyl simulation on the master
