In most cases res offers are given on the day results are released so if you haven’t received one yet eish mfanaka…
I honestly am not sure if it will help but it’s better to try than to just sit back when you don’t have a place to stay , also they’ll take you more seriously if you go with parents 😉
Just a tip,ask for an accommodation officer , otherwise you’ll be walking around getting lost for nothing ! ❤️

Is it first come first serve or ?
No, being there early doesn’t make a difference in terms of res but for registration and student cards it helps because you won’t have to wait in the loooooong lines.
I’m not sure about other reses but at Sunnyside, you guys will fill out forms and choose meal plans then you will be assigned to your rooms,this is left to chance , you may get a single or a double depending on your luck 🤍

Honestly just Gods grace, I happened to be put on a floor where there aren’t many sharing rooms so I was fortunate 🫦
