@@ImGriim they added a lazy underachiever who doesn't actually play any defense, and an all defensive guy who doesn't score. Neither are all that great, and definitely not worth the salaries they got. Dubois is just garbage. I can't believe the Caps took on that salary. yuck. Mangiapane is an ok player. Nothing great. Still have super fragile Oshie around for whatever reason. Dude hasn't played a full season in 8 years.
Being a historical fugure means Ovechkin still puts fans in the seats. Also, his second half resurgence, along with Lindgren's play, are the two main reasons the caps made the playoffs. Don't be shocked if ovechkin pushes for 40 goals, considering his second half was over a 40-goal pace.
