Originally, there was no need for companies to pay extra just to fly in dance companies from the states who have different dance styles from Korean dancers who emphasize precision over flow. However, with foreign fans shoving diversity down their throat in the comments in a few scandals , this is the result. It's not a bad thing, but it more a representation of American demographics than that of Korea, which is made up of 99% Koreans. In real life, these kind of scenes with a huge group of mixed races will most likely not exist or be very hard to find in Korea.

After the band disbanded, she decided to go solo and build her own company and start off fresh. She is the CEO of her own company, so she is in total charge for everything she does right now. She picks her own choreographers, compose her own songs etc.

This is AMAZING on so many levels, you have no idea. First off, she's giving us constant updates, videos, songs... She's keeping us always entertained and interested. Secondly the diversity. Guys. G U Y S. Hyo did t h a t. Do you want to know how many kpop groups/songs feature POC dancing (not in the far background) with the main star? HUH? Not so many, if I do say so myself. We don't see something like this everyday. The song is good. Very good. And every song we got since The Queen went solo had a choreo. Sistar was the group Hyolyn was in! She's the main vocalist, leader of the group under Starship. They are called as the "summer queens" since Sistar is known for their summer hit songs. After the band disbanded, she decided to go solo and build her own company and start off fresh. She is the CEO of her own company, so she is in total charge for everything she does right now. She picks her own choreographers, compose her own songs etc.
In addition to what the other comment said, sistar also has a subunit called sistar19 and it includes hyolyn and bora!!! Sistar19 is one iconic subunit tbh but they only had two comebacks out of the 7 years sistar existed
