For #168 I thought a impure tact was evoked by a verbal stimuli and a pure tact was evoked by non verbal stimuli.

An impure tact is a verbal operant involving a response that is evoked by both
an MO and a nonverbal stimulus

How do you determine a functional relation when there is no baseline?

It’s very difficult to do without a baseline unless you reverse or withdraw your treatment. There are special cases, like in a changing criterion design, where you can check if the behaviors moves with the criterion.
