Well, I can assure you that every airplane is different Just like every vehicle, A guy I know Was flown like fifteen different planes Every last one of them it's different, So unless you have flown that same plane over and over You won't know what every stupid little button does every single time, A simple mix up of buttons that are probably side by side Surrounded by about twenty other buttons that do about the same thing Yeah a mix up like that it's gonna happen and it's no big deal and no risk to your safety.
And passenger planes have way more buttons than military style planes and stuff.
Respect to all the pilots who take us safely everyday ..I know I truly respect them as I am a terrified flyer😢

It's mostly the static from the radio. I wasn't a pilot but I was infantry and our RTO was a nerd but his voice over comms was 10x more better. But as an aviation nerd I will say all pilots always sound so calm.

Why wouldn’t it? He’s the copilot, the captain isn’t taking a dig at him.
It's not? There are only 2 people on the flight deck who could take the controls. If the PIC isn't at the controls then the FO (hopefully) is.
It’s not, he is pointing out that he is the captain assigned to this particular flight and he is experienced, so passengers are in good hands. He is NOT trying to say that passengers are safe because HE is flying instead of the first officer.
Not that good of he can't figure out what comms to use.

The plane just departed so it wouldn't be landing at the same airport. In addition this would've been the center frequency/center controller by the time hey hit cruise. They would've already passed on from not only the tower controller but also the departure controller as well.
