@@whitesoxfancardcollector By the way, I was shopping for the Tom Paciorek rookie card for my collection but because it’s a high number and triple player it fell out of my price range. One of the reasons I’m not fond of dual or triple player cards.
71 is my favorite set of the '70s, probably because it was one of the first I collected as a kid. I have a decent amount of the HOF players from that set, you are right it is hard to find them in good condition, a grade of 5 or 6 is pretty good for this set. Your set looks to be in pretty good shape, congrats on completing it and thanks for sharing!
I love that set, I hold 265 baseball cards from 1971 till I got married in 1983, gave them to my brother who sold them in 1990 for a lot of money, bad decision since he hasn't talked to me since 2009.
Nice job completing this challenging set. Thanks for sharing. The flaws you mention aren't that noticeable on the video. Looks like a very nice set. Love this era of baseball. Attended my first MLB game in '71 - Cubs/Mets at Wrigley. I'm working on the '70 & '72 sets but will probably never tackle this one; I don't think I'm up to the challenge.
Wow, so cool to see the entire set together and they all look so sharp. That binder is fantastic and loved seeing all the cards! Now I really want to pick up the Clemente, Carew and cup card of Bowa! Hahhahaha
Hey Mitchell, I enjoyed the walk through this set. A lot of nice photos. I appreciate the info you dropped throughout. My three favorite 71 cards are the Clemente, Munson and Blue. Take care
1971 Topps? Yes indeed! Thank you for sharing.
You’re welcome; happy to do it

Oh no; that’s definitely not the memory you want to have about this set. Hopefully you have acquired some cards since then.
My goal is to acquire Thurman Munson's nice action photo card

70 and 72 are beautiful sets, so nothing wrong with that! That's really cool; imagine all of the Hall of Famers you saw that day in 1971!

Good luck; those are great cards. Thanks so much for the comment.

Thanks Terry! I show a complete set every month. I enjoy revisiting them with others. Clemente is hands down my favorite from the set.
Great looking set Mitchell! Toughest card for me to get to finish that set, was the Dusty Baker rookie.
I think it was for me too, but I can't recall what was the last card I needed for the set. It's been too long, but I bet it was a SP.
So, when you say that you are on a budget, how much money are you talking about?
Good question. I work within a range that is influenced by our expenses. I discuss bigger purchases with my wife and save for them.
