Bayern are a team. PSG are a collection of individual stars. that's the difference. when De Ligt cleared the ball off the line, he celebrated just like Chiellini used to for Juventus when he made a great defensive challenge. that shows you the difference in mentality. the only PSG player that came out fighting was Sergio Ramos. everyone else looked disinterested.

One major problem PSG has is Mbpape. As good as he is, his selfishness is costing the team. Once he gets to the 18 box he doesn't look for any of his colleagues who are in a beter position to score that is where Bayern has an edge. Muller would have shot into the net himself but he decided to pass to Choupo who was very free to score. If it was Mbpape he wouldn't pass that ball and would prefer to lose it. This PSG that does not play like a team dominated the first half and if Vitinha would had been more decisive in kicking that empty net goal PSG would had never been forced to play all out to get a goal in the second half so much so that even Sergio Ramos was attacking, that was the reason Bayern scored twice in the second half. Nagelsmann is not as great as you say he is, his strategy for this game was to beat up on Messi and he got lucky that referee was not calling anything. Bayern has been mediocre this year even struggling in Bundesliga just in case you did not know. PSG IS A BROKEN TEAM IT DOES NOT PLAY AS A TEAM AT ALL. When you have three luxury players you play with a disadvantage. Looking at all the famous three’s of football, MSN, Suarez was given the dirty work, BBC, Benzema was sacrificed basically, Liverpool, Firmino and Mane both worked off the ball.

It is ridiculous from Franck Leboeuf to say the problem is that there are 3 stars, Every club always has big stars. Not very long ago we had a Real Madrid with Zidane, Figo, Ronaldo, Beckamp, Roberto Carlos... in a single team; Barca had Messi, Eto'o, Ronaldinho, Deco, Xavi... we can say the same about Chelsea, Liverpool, Inter... the problem with PSG is that they are a small club that want to hide this fact by brining in stars and telling them they are bigger than the club and that they are the most important players in the world of football. Paying Ekitike 6 million Euro for a player who has never achieved nor proved anything is ridiculous. Mane was earning a bit more than that at Liverpool, but gosh what a player. Plus there is the fact that Managers can't even talk to the players. For years Neymar would go straight to Al Khelaifi when he didn't agree with the coach. Where on earth have we ever seen that? That's what happens when a club is managed by people who have no clue of what football and club history and values mean

Messi has been humble his whole career. People are telling how Mbappe will be successfull with Real Madrid, which subjectively of course is yet to be seen for a player going to a club with a strong culture where someone who is not even the club captain will tell him straight on and off the pitch to behave, where fans will will openly criticise him, where the coach will have the freedom to criticise him even in front of the cameras (Ancelotti to Rodrygo) and always be demanding more from him, like working for the team, and not the team working for him, or telling him which pisition to play and not him deciding where to play, where he won't have tgat day to day contact with the club president to idolize him, which is something he has never experienced, either with PSG or with the French team. That might hinder his performance. But if course that is very subjective and he may well be successfull.

@@subtropicalken1362 in case of Choupos goal nobody was offside. But Müller was offside. And yes choupo touched the ball. Therefore the final action began when choupo was on the ball and in that moment Müller was offside. Passive offside but instead of standing passively he actively tried to get to the ball which means it’s not passive offside anymore and therefore offside is the right decision.
“Passive offside does not involve itself in the game if the opponent is in an offside position by allowing the other player to take control of the ball. In this case, the player will not get penalized. However, for offside offense, if the player interferes with the play of the player from the other team that is already in an offside position, they will get penalized.”
And Müller did that. The goalie had to think about the direction of the ball coming from Choupo AND the possible direction WHEN Müller touches the ball. So Müller wasn’t on the ball but he was still present for defense play of PSG.
