You all do such a wonderful blessed job! The way you care about these wonderful beautiful animals, and give so much of yourselves, THANK YOU, may our Creator, TMH bless you all for being such caring, honoring caretakers. Bless 🙏🙏🙏
It's nice to see people surrendering horses that were still in good condition. Horse rescues are filling a desperate need for a lot of horse owners who would otherwise have no good options when life hits a rough patch. I've seen so many horses suffering from neglect over the years. It's easy to judge the owner as not caring about their horse or being lazy, but often that's not the case. What I've found is that often the owner loves their horse, but is facing health or financial issues that has made properly caring for their horse difficult if not impossible. Without rescues their only option was often their local sale barn where their old or unsound horse would likely enter the slaughter pipeline and that was something they just couldn't do. There are also tons of horse traders who will promise your old horse a wonderful home, but then they'll haul them straight to the sale barn. Their other option would be euthanizing their horse if they could afford to, but If the horse isn't suffering any major ailments and is doing pretty good that's a really hard thing to justify too. At that point these people just try to hang onto their horse and do the best they can for them, but unless there's an improvement in their situation, providing all the proper care a horse requires can soon overwhelm them. I can't tell you how many times I've found that the owner is older and dealing with serious health issues and trusting a non-horsey neighbor or friend to do their horse chores and that person doesn't have a clue what a horse needs. I used to rescue horses myself, but not to the degree you all are doing! It is an emotional roller coaster and a huge financial burden, but it's also incredibly rewarding. My hope is that with trustworthy rescues like this more owners will give up their horses before they become overwhelmed and the horse gets neglected. They can rest assured that their horse will be properly cared for and never face the slaughter pipeline. Bringing a horse back from the brink is not easy especially with older horses and it's very expensive! Surrendering the horses before they experience any neglect is the loving thing to do for the horse and it gives the horse the best chance of being adopted quickly. It also reduces the costs for the rescue enabling them to rescue more horses in need.
It's definitely important to highlight the situation from all angles. I have seen a lot of healthy or healthy ish horses being surrendered and I know those owners went inside and cried when their animals left. Life isn't black and white. It is many shades of grey, while there are bad owners out there, there are also so many who simply fell on hard times and started to struggle little by little. They are not bad people, they love their animals, they're just past the point of coping. It takes a brave person to ask for help, knowing that will mean giving up their beloved pets and we should acknowledge that..
I’ve loved Libby since you got her I think she’s so cool she’s just seems so kind Jamon and Libby came in together. I think there’s soulmates, and Tom needs some hair grooming. His hair is kind of crazy cute little little guy.
I love that you get so many owner surrenders, it shows that the owners are wanting the best for their horses. There are so many reasons a horse might need to be given up and most aren’t due to intentional neglect. Apart from some hoof issues, nearly all the horses in this episode look well fed and cared for. Well done to those owners who put their horses before a quick buck and came to you rather than auction. It’s heartening. I absolutely love these episodes with Dr Kirsten, what a beautiful soul. Thank you all for every second that you give to these beautiful horses. You’re incredible.❤
I totally agree with you. I just discovered this channel and am glued to my computer now, want to watch all the assessments and learning so much from what I call the 'dream team'.
For the mare who has trouble with the saddle put a foam saddle pad for extra coushin under the saddle to stop it hurting her as I had a horse with the same problem he bucked when you put the saddle on and didn’t buck when rode bare back
Still catching up to the new episodes. But I gotta also comment that you guys getting so many owner surrenders speaks volumes to 1; how needed you guys are. and 2; how good your reputation is in the horse world. I watch another youtuber, who is not a rescue, but she goes to auction to pick up one or two horses from auction and usually goes for the neglected ones. rehab them, and rehome them, just to do some good. And on one of the videos the previous owner of said horse had contacted her, because she had to send her horse to auction due to financial issues, and she was sure her beloved horse had ended in the slaughter pipeline (it had). But now he was doing so good and was super healthy and happy. So by the owner surrendering you also gives them peace of mind :) Also give that poor man some rest about the tractor! He clearly have done a good job lol. some bumps and lumps are just good luck on farming/work equipment. it's going to get muddied up on first use anyways. (I know you are joking with him ofc, but still, he did a wonderfull job!)
God Bless you all, thanks for being so genuine in all love an caring, an let us see what you do everyday, I love watching everyone , Caesar is a giant 😲❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤👍👍😎
What is up with aaall these owner surrenders the last weeks? There are so much of them ;A; So many pretty horses too! I really hope they all get great forever homes (like Arwen did for sure!) 🥰 It makes me happy to see Nate so excited with all his different tractors, really sweet how he painted that red one with so much love so that it's pretty for the next years again ♥ Also seeing the work of Dr. Kristin & Pauly is soo interesting, both can be so caring and take the time that is needed. Thanks for doing these jobs, also thanks to all the other people at pony tales doing great things for horses ♥
Thanks for sharing love your videos! Nate with his tractors reminds me of my dad he worked on cars and restored them and then tractors! Thanks for all you do for theses angels 😇 ❤️ ❤
“Old Red”, at the opening, looks & sounds fantastic! I like that you put new stickers, too! That was quite a job! I was surprised to see so many tractors!😱 You have so many 😮owner surrender horses! Thank God you are able to do that! God bless you all for the wonderful job you do with the horses! 🙏🏻🥰🐴🕊️
Thank goodness you are always there to take all the surrenders. The older ones break my heart. I wish owners would take into consideration that their seniors with serious health issues deserve to be put to rest in a place they know, with no stress. They deserve that 💔
That’s a huge hoof lol. I love watching Pauli work - he is awesome - his work with the horses and his attitude are fantastic. He‘s just great! I love seeing these beautiful people taking on new Familie members. Every time I hear, „I said of course to the horse“ makes me so happy. Giving these beauties another chance of a good life, is fantastic and I hope every one turns out happy and healthy and spends the rest of its days in that happy place. So many surrenders. It’s sad, but thankful the owners turned to you and not the auctions when things get tough. I love your videos, everything is so natural, everyday life as it happens, it’s so wholesome. ❤️ 🧚🏼♀️💕
Beeeuteeful tractor, Nate! And…your glasses frames match the color. Perfecto! Would a fundraiser: antique tractor festival…tractor rides, pony photo booth, ice cream and treats…pay off?
It must be norwegian fjordhorse in thos two owner surrenders. Beautiful they are. And Nates red tractor. Sooo red and nice. Glad he got it done. Pauly wht bull.... Nice cuple. And its hillarius whit grass growing in the trailer. I just love you folks.

Well, you guys, this was an amazing video and usual… Paulie was in a really good mood today lol. Poor guy. You can tell he’s in pain. Especially in his back. I dont like those things to start with but I get so nervous watching, fearing Paulie (&/or horse) is going to get hurt. I just have to fast-forward thru those parts. A lot of people don't like the stocks but it is needed for the large horses. Drafts are too heavy to hold their feet up on their own. The stock gives them the capability of leaning on the chains and boards to help pick their feet up. It is also hard for sore horses, and the stock again, helps them be able to take weight off of the painful feet to help get them done properly and feeling better again!
Wow Nate did a great job on that tractor. A bull for Pauli’s? Nice! I like your new vet but did the older vet retiree? Thought he was hurt. Love you guys. Take care.
Btw if y'all didn't know I love Nate!!!! I have a question for Pauly what is it look going from a basketball size hoof to a toddler hoof?!😂🤣. Dr. Kristen is SUPER amazing!!!! The women of PT are so super awesome, love y'all 💜💕

The really big guys need stocks that are extra heavy duty built and can take it if a tantrum happens. I have heard some awful stories about farriers getting really badly injured as well as the horse if the stocks are not specifically made for these big weight guys. I used to visit my Sister in Ohio where there were a lot of Amish and a good number of really serious injuries would happen as they would try to do their own hoof work. It might have been on a old Dr Pol show that he told the Amish man who had some big guys like this one, that he wasn't going to come do ANYTHING much less ask a farrier to come unless they built a stock that would hold an elephant!
You always got to remember, the Amish have an 8th grade education. Never any more. Thats age 13. It sounded super when you started it up!
Looking good!
Beautiful tractor! My brother collects and fixes old tractors up in Canada. It builds a respect for the farmers of a bygone era! 😃
If you liked that, I think you'd love Pete over at Just A Few Acres. He does amazing work on all of his restored tractors

Vieleicht sollte man Pauly auch mal bei der chiropraktikerin vorstellen . Könnte ihm gut tun 😂.Ich würde es ihm gönnen so eine wohltuende Sitzung.
That bull is SO CUTE!
Shetland or whatever is beautiful!!❤🐎❤️
I'm recently a new sub and I can't get enough of your guy's videos! My favorite are the 1hr+ vids, keep up the great work! ❤❤
Glad you like them!

Wow Nate did a great job on that tractor. A bull for Pauli’s? Nice! I like your new vet but did the older vet retiree? Thought he was hurt. Love you guys. Take care.
Jim was our other vet and he did get hurt. Unfortunately it resulted in his retirement :(
My late dad fixed Farmall tractors as a hobby.
🦃
Hope that paint is dry! 3:03
Great radio station😊
Just curious: how can rocks get washed away? And where do they go?
As a backup, doesn't Nate have a matched team of Percherons (Envy and the newer one) that he can access. Just needs a good set of draft harness?
Very educational and fun video!!
Btw if y'all didn't know I love Nate!!!! I have a question for Pauly what is it look going from a basketball size hoof to a toddler hoof?!😂🤣. Dr. Kristen is SUPER amazing!!!! The women of PT are so super awesome, love y'all 💜💕
Alcohol works to clean off the metal before putting on decals.
You all do a fantastic job! But my biggest question is why in the world does the horses NOT like when touching their mouth! Lol
❤❤❤
Formahoof will work on him!!! Or any other hoof issues
@pony tails refugee, does Pauly have his own RUclips channel for hoof trimming?
Soon!! We are going to start a bit of a "farrier" series. Stay tuned!
That trator is Sweet
New sub
I love that the music in background is not country
