    I’m really glad to hear you’re honest opinion of this motorcycle. I recently bought this exact one. I’m on the shorter side of normal so I added the 5” mini-apes. I’m coming off a ‘18 Chieftain. It was an awesome motorcycle but after the wife decided to start learning to ride on her own I decided to make a change in order relive something of my youth. I had this bike delivered to Indian of Charlotte so the guys of Lloyd’s Garage could also add a few performance upgrades such as Lloyd’s high flow intake, 585 cams, Sawiki shorty exhaust and an amazing dyno tune by their tech wizard Ryan…. I’m not always an aggressive rider….but it’s better to have it when ya need it than need it when ya don’t have it🏍💨 Also this Army Veteran appreciates your shout out to our fellow servicemen and women and those who paid the ultimate price for our freedoms

      Sir, thank you for your service. I owe everything I hold near and dear to my heart to veterans, those that made the ultimate sacrifice and their families. My friend Pete took his 21' Roadmaster to Lloyd's Garage too and it made a world of difference. I love what you did with the bike. Customization is personalization and that makes your bike so much cooler in my book even though it is a pretty cool bike from stock. Thank you so much for your story. Cheers!

    you found the big common problem with indian motorcycle..... the throttle. I had issues with my roadmaster with the throttle response but that got resolved after the tune was done.

    • @TheCodgerBiker
      @TheCodgerBiker  Год назад +1

      Honestly I only had the throttle problem with this one bike.

    I'm in love with the way this bike looks, shame it's way too expensive in the local market for what you get.

      American motorcycles are expensive in the US. I'm glad you like the bike though. I think Indian and Harley need to make models that are more budget friendly.

    Great review, looks like a fun ride. I don't like the forward riding position either. Those Indian turn signals will self-cancel when they feel like it but not all the time. Generally the more lean a corner needs the greater the chance the signal will self-cancel. The throttle is "ride-by-wire" to allow for the different ride modes. It took me a good while to get used to that. I couldn't tell if that bike is stock, but even stock bikes sound nice. Passable, anyway. 👍

    • @TheCodgerBiker
      @TheCodgerBiker  Год назад +1

      That's a lot of great info. The bikes were stock to my knowledge and it makes sense they would be since that is what they are trying to sell you off the showroom floor generally speaking. Seriously though, great info. Cheers!

      @@TheCodgerBiker Thanks! Currently at work stifling laughter watching your sport bike review 🤣 I'm not sure if I'm used to the ride-by-wire or if it broke in to be less "grabby" but me and my bike have seemed to reach a working agreement. We were stuck on the highway in traffic because of an accident, and all 4 of us were able to crawl along in first in the friction zone. Ride-by-wire all 4 bikes. Also, with Indians you can take off from a stop in almost any gear so long as you don't try to go in 3rd the same way as you would in 1st. I start in 2nd all the time.

      Our local dealership will have new bikes that are not stock. They'll already have the stage 2 air intake and exhaust, one for more performance and the other for a deeper, louder, rumble. I don't have either, yet, they are pricey options.

    • @TheCodgerBiker
      @TheCodgerBiker  Год назад +1

      @@GamingAfter50 My dealership does that too but they take the initiative to add the modifications. Maybe Indian does that differently?

      @@TheCodgerBiker It might be a decision made at the dealer level when they order their new stock from the factory.

    You know there is a Sport mode right? Big difference with the clutch and throttle response in that mode :)

    • @TheCodgerBiker
      @TheCodgerBiker  Год назад +1

      I didn't at the time. I do now. I've never owned a bike with ride modes so that's new to me but I've come to appreciate the bikes with different ride modes. I certainly appreciate the motorcycle community teaching me new things too. Very cool.
