1979 this was fire 🔥 i was seven im 51 now this was one of his best albums i remember this like it was yesterday it sold millions i mean how can i forget this masterpiece they played it on a daily that year rest in enteral peace 🕊️ Micheal gone but never forgotten
my interpretation of the song when he says live your life off the wall is to live life with no limits. If its something you want to achieve, go for it. Live a limitless life
Right it wasn't just a job, friends, a spouse nor a jod being a crutch to you in life when it shouldn't, you take the good and the bad and continue living without any thing holding you back!
@Brandon Powers. What it was... “Off the Wall” was his last album 💿 with the Blk community. When “Thriller” came out and he did “Motown 25” (with his infamous moonwalk performance )... that’s when he became...MICHAEL JACKSON, when the White folks got him. Dope album 💿 ...but our community gravitates more to “Off the Wall”.
@@blackolantern5666 That's probably accurate that it was geared for the black community, but this was the first album this 9yo white girl got to pick out and is my favorite MJ album! There are a few of us who actually feel music and know what's a vibe. Although I admit, not many.🤣 I knew I found my music while dialing through radio stations and heard some music I was just connecting with. That was V-103 (Atlanta), so I started listening to EWF, Donna Summer, Gap Band, Billy Paul, James Brown, George Benson, etc. I actually love something from all genres of music, but whenever I would hear Michael, I knew he was something special! 💙🕺🏾
@@DivaInTheWoods Look, look, I get that there were pockets of White folks who liked our soul/r&b stuff (it's always been that way), how do you think ya'll are able to reproduce what we do? Anyway... what I'm dealing with is the bigger picture.
Living off the wall is basically not taking yourself too serious. Instead of just working and worrying about bills try to live a little. Those little breaks in-between the hustle and bustle recharges you to keep going. Dope reation!!
Ever heard of a “wall flower” before…. don’t be one of those. That’s what it means. Don’t be uptight and fade into the background. “Shed your inhibitions”, and get out there and enjoy life. Be your best you, and have fun doing it.
If You Guys like "motivational songs", you needa check out MJ’s keep the faith! A lyrical masterpiece! Would love to see you guys reacting to tabloid junkie as well! MJ straight up dissed the Media in that one!
I think he’s just saying when you go out for good night on a Saturday, feel the music and let your hair down, enjoy it get in the zone, for that moment you’re free
Great reaction to a classic song. Back in the day I was 5"9' and the most I weighed was around 150 pounds. If you were constantly active, you burned off pounds almost every day. I had only 1% body fat which wasn't good because I was in the Coast Guard at the time (you need fat in order to float adequately on water). Michael Jackson was always on the move in videos and during concerts, so it was easy for him burn his body fat down to 136 pounds.
Dudes I am 50 and I've gotten dowm to MJ since I was in 8th grade......where I saw Thriller for the 1st time.check out that tune- thriller-. but I ve never really paid attention to his words.I was simply groovin with a chick or 2 always........but you guys went thru the lyrics and that was really KOOL ty.....
You should do yourself a favor and listen to this whole album even if you don't do reaction vids for it. It is such a masterpiece that many people overlook due to Thriller's popularity. My personal opinion is you should explore his entire library. There are many hidden gems people have missed. But this right here is still a jam I listen to often!!
I think gen x should adopt you guys into our gen, we're the last to see Michael full power. He was still that when you got here, but you just had to experience it, no one on earth has what he had in himself or the fans.
My guys, he's saying put your job away, why you kids don't understand what a 9 to 5 is. It's a Job!! and to get out have fun, dance, enjoy your life, don't stress, just have a good time tonight.
You broke itb down for younger and evidentally the OLDER one to...ME.........when u guys get a girl alone( separately of course) put on MJ and watch the mood ....... Early MJ is the SHIT...do ' ROCK WITH YOU'
Yeah right do you want to convince me that these 2 dudes listened Michael Jackson for the first time just now? Sure sure what ppl can do in order to get viewers huh? Lol
Don’t be a wallflower at a party, don’t just lean against the wall, get out there and dance!!! Have some fun!!

This album dropped in 1979. Too many people sleep on this album. He did more than just Thriller!
IMO his best album!

MJs harmonies in this, man. Unrivalled 👑
The reason that MJ wore high waters and bright socks is so that when he performed, people in the back could see his footwork.
Love how y’all are catching on to the message and breaking it down. 💪🏿

Beautiful piece of music, doing his own background. MJ was 21 years old when this song first played.

Last time I heard he was 6'0 or 6'1 his debut solo album from being with his brothers in 1978.
That's way off, he was 5'9. It says it on his driver's license and death certificate
