🏁 In the beautiful stage from Bolsena to Montefiascone we arrive at the longed-for sign that shows us that there are "only" 1️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ km left to our final destination.
🌳 We walked through the enchanting Turona Archaeological Nature Park, which sheltered us in its generous shade, until we reached the top of Montefiascone.
❓ Fun fact: we believe we are the first to document the Via Francigena in Italy walked using minimalist barefoot shoes (thin sole and wide forefoot) - to have a more deep contact with the ground 🌍
