On the way to Brampton bymx Tommy and his dad called at the garage I worked at up at Allendale, Paul Gowlands(Graeme’s dad) to get some dyno work done on his kx85. Graeme told Tommy I was good at fitting graphics so he asked if I’d fit his, I fitted his tank graphics etc and Tommy said “wow you are good” (he was impressed) then we were playing footy outside and he booted the ball onto the co-op roof and that was the end of the kick about at bait time. Don’t know if he’d remember this as it’ll be pushing 20 years ago but it’s probably still up there if he’s ever passing with a set of ladders and fancies getting the ball back. Cheers, keep up the good work lads.
Podcast is getting better. Like the banter but yeah, we would like longer/sensible answers to questions when they relate to how we can drag our arses round a track more quickly.

Once again this podcast has less polish than a rusty 65 Vauxhall and more disjointed than my grandfathers hip replacement.., that’s why I absolutely love it, 👍🤪 even though they have sold out for the corporate dollar after only 2 episodes 😂😂 Also, at , 1.16, Billy spoke about coming up someone arse at the top of a hill 😳🙀🤣😂 Even my wife was losing it watching this.. 👍🤣
I don’t know if this is right place to ask this question, but thought I’d give it a shot. Having followed Tommy from his first GP at Matchams park in 05, to then see him get first podiums and win it’s been a great journey. Being of the same age too it was exciting for me watching his rise. Really brings back some good memories watching racing and being involved in the motocross scene. One question I was wondering if you could ask Billy and Tommy. Are there any tracks that are now gone (may they rest in peace) that they really miss? I.e the matchams parks, gore basin, the old Tonymoto practice track etc. Keep the videos and podcasts coming. Really enjoying them. Chris
