    About Yogic Gurukul:
🙏🏼 All things Yoga, philosophy, and spirituality.
Yogic Gurukul aims to provide online Yoga education through videos, books, and workshops - all centered on classical Yoga philosophy and Indian culture. We believe that the spiritual teachings of Yoga are an essential human need and help us to know ourselves from the inside out. To us, Yoga is much more than just a physical asana practice - it is a mental and spiritual process - catalysed through philosophical study, meditation and pranayama. Our aim is to teach a holistic Yoga practice, and be able to transfer the knowledge of Yoga as presented in the Vedas, Upanishads, Bhagavad Geeta and Hatha Yogic Texts.

Yes, I think free will exists. At least between the choices:
As far as i remember, Patanjali does not mention ahamkara. Could such an obvious omission refer to a vrrti to avoid at all costs?
Or does it belong to a decision-making complex of self-reference, too abstract for words: the cit of purusha.
Or rather, perhaps his choice of word asmita gives a current for attribution: thus we hold our heads high, not to seem confident--not to raise higher. The life we lead comes from the eyes, and they follow the head, which follows the mind. So mind and life (physiologically correct posture--eyesockets not eyesight) linked create oneself.
Hmm. I wonder if yoga linguistically means when two sounds become one force and birth a new शब्दर्थम्.
Ok sorry for rambling. Currently I am writing a pad called योगनुशासनं Yoga as Natural Philosophy. What amazes me about yog, is how infinitely many interpretations can arise...so I almost want to take a breath cycle for my own non-initiation.
Sanskrit was an art of inventing language, so I love treating books like living people who only had those words to say: so if I wasn't ready to prepare my understanding, the Sage would not give the seeker time.
In that sense, I do not look forward to "social networking". The only reason I exist is to do dharm. My dharm is to understand yoga for myself...so I will be excited to see you again in a month. Perhaps then I will have some coherent thought for a video explanation.
    Gurukulvizva ne gurukulviszvay!
