I am watching the seagull which is watching you. It likes to be in the picture I guess. Charming view. I wished you would change the view{s} from time to time. Otherwise very lovely.
Actually, Lovers Point is in Pacific Grove, which is as far west as you can get on the Monterey Peninsula. If you could look behind you, you would see the staircase leading up to Lovers Point Park. If you turn to your right you would see a big ol' rock jutting out of the sand that is easily assessable, dry footed, during low tide and is surrounded by shallow water at high tide. Beyond that rock is the short sea wall dividing this north section of the beach from the south section of the beach which is where the swimmers and most of the sunbathers go because it is more protected. Of course it isn't a long sun bathing period because usually the fog rolls in during early afternoon in the summer and it's just too blasted cold any other time of the year. Yeah, it was my home town, off and on, for 57 of my 71 years. I'd still live there but my retirement income prevented it. Plus I refused to put up with the tyrannical state government. I sure do miss it.
