Worth it though, spent about $300, drove an hour and 20 minutes to a spot I got on the Missouri River. Camped with my friends Friday, Saturday and left Sunday morning. Caught a 46 pound flathead last night lol
He goes 3 to 4 hours one way to fish some spots I’ve always been surprised how much he travels but do some google maps searching around his area and you will see why
Its been tough fishing for me here lately. Yet my wife has caught two flatheads this year so maybe they just dont like me lol hopefully one day ill finally get one!
Well man that’s what I like. It’s hard to have amazing days back to back. Keep trying. Sharp hooks to ya. I hope when I get back to Texas I can get you and Jordan down to fish
Honeslty impressive you didn’t lose that bladebait in there I gotta start usin those more , las video was crazy ….. dude the night time marina Jordan’s big live baits almost time no ?!?
Used to hate it when the water was up a lot. Within the last 3 years that has changed a lot. Caught my pb blue and flatty back to back nights and around 15 20-30 pounders in 1 night. My best advice is to fish against the bank, use a few rods with different size sinkers and let them drift back. Even if it’s right up against the bank it’s usually good, a lot of fish go up against the banks when the water rises. It causes a bunch of worms and bugs to be in the water up against the bank.
I got into using blade baits because of your channel but I’m wondering how to correctly use them. Do you snap jig it back and then let it fall? Or do you just straight reel it in?
Try completely all white lures , cut bait and even add a small white grub type plastic on the hook first then add your cut bait or crawly boy to the hook. Kinda like using a jig trailer but in reverse!!
Fish follow the water up when it rises best times to fish high water is when it's coming up rapidly and right before it gets to its highest level and fishing a creek that connects to a big river will be loaded with fish when the main river is blown out I normally try the mouth of the creek and if they are not there then get as far back as I can
Nobody: What spot is this? Josh: my favorite spot! Nobody: I thought that ____ was your favorite spot? Josh: that is my favorite spot! Nobody: so then how is this your favorite spot? Josh: there both my favorite spot! By the way, tomorrow I gotta place we gotta go! Its my favorite spot! 😅
Don’t blame you at all it’s the game but I hate that titles have to be so clickbait now to get pushed in the algorithm and get views. Again, I blame RUclips not Josh whatsoever.
16:56 "crawler got sucked off" caught me off guard 😂

Driving an hour and a half to a fishing spot is pure dedication.
I often have to drive farther than that to make it to a good fishing location

Not much of a fisherman are you? 😂
I just traveled 1hr50min to go fish kings out of a river... When you love it you tend to travel sometimes.

Thanks for another Great video Stache it up
Beats the day I had. 6 hours, zero bites, and wind pushing around the kayak the entire time. Good stuff, Stache man!
I got big respect for your patience …. After 2 hours no bite I,m long gone !!!
I started using soft plastic swimbaits in rivers to avoid the losing expensive lures. They work just as good like Yamamoto Zako and cost like $1 each.
Keeping you busy
It was still a video, thanks for sharing.

Hi have good day fishing
Brother, I recommend slim jims as bait staple. I learned every channel cats name in a little ole close to home pond. I'm talking about WOOO
Untangle then throw it back in the swim, good move 😄
Is that the Platte? Loup maybe? Where the heck are you, I recognize a couple spillways you like.
I Caught a 40 pound flatly few days ago was a damn Giant love the vids Josh 👍
I laugh when your alarm goes off, but whatever works to get you off the river.
Don't want to leave the kids stranded at school 😂

At least the crawler had a happy ending. 😂
Have you ever thought about noodling? Grabbing a big old cat out of the water with your hands, I think you should try it Josh.

The white stands out in the muddy water.
My toilet didn’t survive after devastating Taco Bell.
Didn't see that coming 😂

This year was here there and gone
I didn't even watch this but it's a body of water so I'd venture a guess that there's fish in it (surprising)
Didn't even have to unhook that flathead carp it did it for u lmao!
Well I am not disappointed at all.

Bears are scary
Why are you wearing a hoodie? Is it cold there? It’s still hot asf in southwest Oklahoma
That fish was stripping drag like a mofo!
What size hook you using for the crawler?
I believe it was a 2/0 octopus circle
@@PigPatrolTV you’re the man. Trying to optimize my crawler game

Sometimes, you just have to appreciate small victories..
I caught some diarrhea on a hot summer day fishing. I had to empty my minnow bucket. Pull my socks off and blew that bucket up.
The fish around here got fat on cicadas this spring.
Have you tried drum tacos? They are supposed to be good. How about a "catch and cook?"
Stacheherd
REBEL Crawdad
Might have to try it
🎉🎉🎉
The older you get the faster it Flys!
Fish deep mid day shallow in morning an evening
❤️👊💪🎣
The fish weren't used to all the water.
Shoot, I wasn't either 😂
Perfect timing, I just sat down for my evening poo 😂
Dumb question, but where can a guy get those rod holders?? Need to invest in something better than the local sticks and rocks! 😂
Have you switched over to Arab??? The introduction was a bit scary. 🤔🤔⚠️
Was it actually? 😂
Awesome video man 🎣🎣🎣🔥🔥🔥🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
