Starting off my day with Cari is always a good day! I always really wanted to go to Jeju but I gotta wait till I get to go to Korea again! I'm glad that there is such a guide that JTA made because I know it will make life so much easier for tourists
Several decades ago, a famous Japanese writer visited and traveled through Jeju Island. Upon returning home to Japan, he remarked, "It's as if I went to the place where I used to live my 'previous life (前生)' before I was born, and now I have returned to my present life." 수십년 전, 한 유명한 일본 작가가 제주도 여행을 하고 일본에 돌아와서 말했습니다. “나는 내가 전생에 살던 곳에 갔다가 현생에 살고 있는 일본에 돌아와 있는 것 같다.”
your travel vlogs are something else! i'm a senior in high school and it's currently my busiest month, haven't had time to relax and i miss traveling very much. watching your vlogs sent me into nostalgia and made me feel the desire to just pack my bags and escape 😩 but thank you for putting out these beautiful travel vlogs, i truly enjoyed it. come visit Indonesia next! 💜
Omg Cari! The world is so beautiful through your eyes, seriously You inspire me so much to travel and live my life at it fullest, thank you so much for sharing your life and those breathtaking places with us, I'm really grateful, especially because I live in Brazil and it's so expensive to travel to the places you share, but I'm really happy because thanks to your vlogs I can imagine myself there 💕💕 This vlog was amazing, especially because you did a lot using the public transportation! This is so cool! If I have the opportunity to travel to Jeju I would definitely use the bus! Have a nice week! And I'm excited to see whats up next 💕 I just have two questions: why did you covered some of the store names? And can you do a lookbook or outfits of the week video? I really love your style Thank you so much Cari! 💕
I lived in Jeju this summer and took busses every day. Even though it's bumpy and you need to be patient, it's a good way to get around the island and I have made many memories on my trips
Ahhh! I wish I had learned about this jeju bus tour when I and my friend went to Jeju last June. I thought it would be time consuming but your video made it seems efficient and enjoyable.
Nice video, I was in Seogwipo, Jeju Island last year visiting my new grandson. The buses are now all electric, they park at designated stop, the roof lifts up and it charges the battery super fast, takes about 15 minutes.
I was hesitant to go to jeju before because i thought it would be difficult to get around and i dont know how to drive. Glad to know there are now buses available! Thank you for this. Your videos have always been my go to guide in korea!
Started watching the vid in the morning as I was getting ready for work, but I was also running late so I had to pause. Now rewatching during my lunch! Nice break from all the work stress. ♡♡♡
ahhh finally time to take a break from studying! cant wait to watch this Cari~ also one thing i don't think i've ever said before but think about whenever i watch your videos, your hair is SO beautiful and aesthetically pleasing and always fits the colors of the frame so well hahah, love it!!
It's insane! For a couple of days I've been so nostalgic for my time in Korea, I started looking back on your older vlogs, and I'm so happy I found this one. I've been to Jeju once, it happened during a typhoon, went to the same places, waterfalls, cliffs (I usually choose nature over history to be fair) and when I came back home I got a tattoo of those cliffs and water jumping right up there, because it was windy, rainy and the sun was going down and I miss the place so much! :( but also like :) thank you for this!
It’s always relaxing to watch your videos on a chill day ☺️ And it’s raining in my country here , so it’s even more relaxing . I always wanted to go to Jeju and watching your videos made me feel like I was on this trip with you ; this video was amazing . Thank god that you and your friend are safe . Love you Cari ❤️
Im from Thailand.Apart from my country that I love to explore, I must admit that South Korea is not that far behind.Love the lanscape the vibe and food there and last but not least you can find nice cafe just about every corner on the cities.
Cari...with every video I enjoy, it only serves to make me more determined to visit Sth Korea. Loving the bus tour concept. Thank you for sharing, as always. 👏💐
Thanks for sharing this video and your experience in Jeju. This is really great guide and you gave me ideas for my next plan - winter trip to Jeju by January. 😊😊
I can't wait for everything to go back to normal. I really want to travel to Seoul & Jeju. I've been hesitant to travel to Jeju coz I heard you need a car to get around, it's a good thing I saw your vid on this!
I never realize there was so much there. I notice volcanic rock a lot by the beach, was there a volcano there at one time? The whole experience seems dream like to me. Thank you for a great tour. Stay happy, healthy, and safe. Blessed be
Wonderful! 😍 Since I saw this amazing through lava and volcanic activity shaped parts of Jeju, I'm determined to visit it one day. To me, it's fascinating to see landscape formed by the forces of nature so obviously. I was already thrilled by your Instagram posts.
Love how you show the landscape a lot! Brings back memories as I used to live in Jeju when I was a kid, yet haven’t been back in Korea since I left. Going back this year though : )
Watching your videos always puts a smile on my face. I almost didn't click on the video because lately I've been missing Korea like crazy, and I didn't think a video about Korea would be a good idea for me tonight. But I was wrong! Thank you for the wonderful video. And now I know what to look up next time I go to Korea, I might just hop on a plane to Jeju. ^.^
The West part is the most beautiful in my opinion! Especially the crystal clear and amazingly blue beaches like Geumneung and Hyeopjae! Also Halim Park is near by them, it was so beautiful (little bit pricey tho) and I visited them by bus without a problem :)
Omg I was on Jejudo at the same time! I also saw the cat on the market in part 1 and went to the volcano AND the fish and chips place just two days after you were there. Our fairy got cancelled because of the typhoon and we decided to stay two more days 💕 we also got around by bus and it was no problem. Love your vlogs!!! I used your Seoul vlogs as a guideline for our Seoul city adventure. Thank you for making such nice and informative videos 😊
The bus rides seem really long but yay to a proper guide! Made me look forward to going back! 😄 So many pretty images in this video, I especially like the one of the clothesline with some kids' laundry. I 💛 Udo toooo! My sister and I had a chance encounter with a wonderful family who gave us a ride out back to Jeju.
i don't know if anyone else does this too, but everytime i watch your video i will definitely turn on my shazam too lol. i love your videos and ofc your playlist!💜
Thank you Jeju Tourism Association for hooking Cari up and letting her take us on the wonderful bus tour, when I plan my trip to Korea I will definitely be using it when I swing thru the island:) Also good lord did that look windy, I have terrible balance I woulda blown right over lol
I have been to Jeju once - 5 years ago for 2 days 1 night trip. It was unforgettable. I wanted to go back but every time I am in Korea the prices to get there are higher than I would like.
I never had much interest in Jeju because it seemed like a odd honeymoon destination in a lot of dramas. But the tours you went on and that stone garden now make me REALLY want to go there!
omg Cari, i can't explain how much i love your videos, you make me wanna visit every single place ahaha thank you for the quality content and keep on exploring 😍
Hi Cari Cakes. I am from San Elijo and I am a student at your moms school. Me and my best friend are looking at moving to South Korea because we love the culture and their way of life. Do you have any tips or comments on what to Expect and whether you think we should move?
One day I hope I get to take photos of all the places you have shared with us and tag you on IG so you can see exactly how much you have impacted us/me on all the beautiful places you have shared. Hopefully it will be sooner rather than later. Lol. Thank you again for another great content =)
I really enjoy this vlog! Particularly because I've seen most of those places... sweet memories! My hotel was in Seogwipo actually, so we stayed in the south, took the bus over to the east where we walked for hours and also checked out Udo (we agree on the fact that it's gorgeous)... so yeah... visiting Jeju with local busses - approved! :D haha I'll definitely check out their New tour guides though, that would have been SOOOO helpful when we were there! take care :)

Wait! What happened to the Kpop Play museum?!? I saw it in the preview & waited to comment because I thought it'd be in this one... Oh well: I've actually been there!! And that exact cardboard standee is the closest I've ever been to N oppa & VIXX. 😆 I wanted to uh, permanently borrow him, but there were too many people around. Plus the whole suitcase & flying back to America thing. Anyway, thanks for another great video! I'm glad you had a great time & didn't run into too much trouble with the typhoon.
I know this is an old video, but I'm also super curious about the blurring, it doesn't appear in any of the other videos of yours I've watched (and I have been BINGEING your channel!).

Hehe thanks!!
Wow I was there when same typhoon hit too! Unfortunately, it was cloudy and raining all the time we were there. Still beautiful and food was so good.
Glad there wasnt too much damage! It was scary!!!
Jeju Island is a really cool island. And if you are not sure, you can always ask the bus drivers before getting on:)
Jeju island is such a beautiful place, the scenery is so perfect 😍😍😍
Right?! And I’ve only seen the east side of the island!
Watched on my tea break and the few coworkers in the break room crowded around to watch with me lol! Safe to say we all want to visit Jeju someday
🙏🙏🙏 hope you all get to go one day! (and have a great day at work 🥰)

it was requested by the jeju tourism agency and agreed - i thought it made the waves a lot cooler at the cliffs!

I know this is an old video, but I'm also super curious about the blurring, it doesn't appear in any of the other videos of yours I've watched (and I have been BINGEING your channel!).
