~*Description of Project MA*~
In order to prevent the devastation of the world, Project MA was commenced. It was quite difficult to carry out the project.
First Project: MA candidate Eve Zvezda failed to give birth to twins. Test subject disappeared soon after.
Second Project: Meta Salmhofer, the 'Witch of Marigold' managed to safely give birth to twins, yet escaped with the twins afterwards. She is now being tracked down.
Third Project: Project was suspended due to test subject's frail body and resulting death.
Fourth Project: Test subject was murdered by 'Apocalypse'. Project was suspended.
Fifth Project: Test subject was punished as the birth did not result in twins.
Sixth: Pregnant test subject was kidnapped by her husband, Vey Lucifen. The test subject's corpse was later discovered in Nemu village. The fetus is confirmed to have disappeared.
Soon after, in E.C 013, four women were chosen to be candidates of the seventh Project MA.

A novice craftsperson. Her elder brother, Kiril Clockworker, was the craftsman known as 'Clockworker'.
Although she had never had any training in magic, the investigation conducted by the Royal Institute of Research confirms that she has high levels of Factor M.

A witch. After being expelled from the Pantheon for misconduct, she became Kiril's fiancée, living with and helping him.
This time, the candidate's Factor M is the highest among all the others, but her other low statistics are a cause of concern.

Milki Eights

A prostitute. She was Pale Noel's wife and a leader of 'Apocalypse', which caused many people to object to her becoming a Project MA candidate. However, due to the successful case of Meta Salmhofer, the Senate decided to allow her to be a MA candidate.
Out of all the candidates, her statistics are the most balanced.
※ As she may still have connections with 'Apocalypse', she will not be allowed into the Pantheon before the final selections.

As a MA candidate, her statistics for Factor M isn't very high, but perhaps the Senate allowed her to participate due to political pressure.

I want to point out that when it says one of them stepped off a cliff in the first chorus, a picture of Milky Eights is shown. In the second chorus, when it says one hanged herself, a picture of Ly Li is shown. It's actually the other way around. Irina made it look like an accident when Ly Li fell off a cliff, and she made it look like Milky Eights hanged herself. So Ly Li fell off the cliff, and Milky Eights was hanged, not the other way around

Actually, and according to my source material which happens to be the Evillious Wiki, Milky Eights hanged HERSELF to avoid getting an even more gruesome death in the hands of Irina Clockworker and the others.

To be fair, nerunerunerune is the name of a Japanese candy. It's still pretty bad as a character's name, though. (But not as ridiculous as the Venomania novel apparently having a character named Witness Truth. Who witnesses the truth of the duke's identity. Mothy why.)

It meant that she was murdered. The lyrics say "She fell off a cliff" but it wasn't an accident. It was a murder by Irina. Same goes for Lily. "She committed suicide." was just a murder disguised as a suicide by Irina.
Well true. But Irina does have HER. Her HER(Biggest Pun Ever) probably activated... most likely. Unless Li Lee killed Miluki and committed suicide over the guilt of it and the only thing Irina did was kill Elluka. Or maybe Elluka committed suicide. "I will protect you(by making you win the game)". So many theories.
But I doubt this theory is true because "The girl committed suicide... but it is not true." So yeah. That's Mothy.
Ah! I just realised the "Children" are the first two contests, the prostitute and the noblewoman - the one who fell off the cliff, and the other who killed herself!
Yeah, you're right. It wouldn't be like mothy if the songs weren't shrouded in mystery. Maybe there will be a booklet or something that reveals the truth for us, but until that time comes... we can only speculate about it... *sigh*
And that she is a very obvious villain. In fact she was the only part of the Bloodstained Switch confusion that made sense!

Did she say "the queen is pointed by a shiny knife " it sounds like she's talking about the vessel of wrath since the vessel is a golden key that can change to a knife so it means we're getting close to the birth of the master of the heavenly yard (the irregular) and the coming of the final vessel. Plus with the death of elluka envy's vessel will become like the others in the cappicio farce so its all coming together. (Btw I know I miss spelled the name of the song)
I already know all that, that's why I said they LOOKED SIMILAR; I mean, if this guy Vey Lucifen took the baby(ies?) with him, and the model they used for the babies' appereance was the same used for Meta's, then the Sixth Priject could have been a success, and justifies why Allen and Rilliane LOOK SIMILAR though THEY ARE NOT Hänsel and Gretel.

All the candidates were gathered for the same project.
In the song Project Ma Seth Twiright and Adam Moonlit recruit the first candidate, Eve Zvezda, who's name is later changed to Eve Moonlit when she marries Adam Moonlit. After Adam and Eve run away from the project, Seth recruits the second candidate, Meta Salmhofer, who we see in Escape of Salmhofer the Witch.
The events of Moonlit Bear happen sometime in between Escape of Salmhofer the Witch and this song. And in this song we can assume that Seth was the one to recruit all of the candidates that are listed, as Project Ma is explicitly stated in the lyrics.
And, the events of Abandoned on a Moonlit Night are caused by the events in Whereabouts of the Miracle -Catastrophe-, so we know that it happens afterward. Then the last song to take place is Chronostory, at which point we can assume no more candidates have been or will be recruited.
So basically, my mind was blown. :O

Seth and everyone know that Meta gave raise to two twins and then

In Project MA he states he needs to find the next Mem Aleph to "grant his ambition"... I'm really not sure what to think of that - the ptoject he directed was the first and only success, and they lost the kids. Perhaps this was intentional? I mean, they were the crowning acheivement of the project, you'd think they'd have been a bit more secure, considering Meta just runs off with them.

Oh, really? I haven't read the actual novels, I didn't realise that the Original Sin was split into the seven after Levianta's destruction. Well that definitely means the twin gods were already incarnate at that point, so the third through seventh projects were doomed to failure regardless.
Seth seems to be one of the more ominous characters, we don't really know all that much about what's driving him, do we? God knows how he survived the Levianta disaster >.

I think this is an extremely valid question to be asking. I'm not an expert on it, so I'm not sure, but is there even any evidence to say that Hansel and Gretel survived for long on their own after the events of The Original Sin series? If they died then the MA project is viable - but Seth and the council wouldn't know that. I'm convinced that it was kept going because of Seth's ambition to control the next MA so he is effectively ruling the country, hence perverting Project MA's true purpose.

I think this means that the Ma we've been seeing has been Irina this whole time, she was just using the bodies of the former candidates. I mean, you could argue and say, "Well, in Chrono Story Elluka was talking about how she lost her loved one," but she didn't specify about what they were and Irina loved him too, sooooooooo, it's definitely a possibility.
The identity of MA is unknown; she's believed to be Irina, Elluka or both of them in one. If you saying the Elluka we've all seen is really Irina in Elluka's body, then that's incorrect. Elluka is brought back to life in the next song in this series

Victoria DeFebbo Absolutely could not be that, as they've been working against each other throughout the Evillious Chronicles. One of the best examples against it is the song Five- The Pierrot. Elluka has Gumilia kill Lemy Abelard, a member of Pere Noel, because he was a reincarnation of Hansel and would not leave Pere Noel to join them. At the time, Pere Noel was led by Julia Abelard, one of Irina's aliases. If they were the same, there would have been no reason for her to try to draw him away from Pere Noel and to kill him because he wouldn't leave.

Can someone please explain the whole 'Ma' thing to me? I know these four girls, two of the being Elluka and Irina, and two others whose names I forgot, are competing in this survival game to be the 'mother of the gods'. The two girls whose names I forgot died, and Irina and Elluka had to fight. Irina told Elluka, her sister in law, that they could stop fighting, and that she'd let Elluka be the 'Ma'. Elluka hugged her and promised to protect her, but then Irina stabbed her in the back(literally). But I also know that Eve Zvezda, or Moonlit after she's married, and Adam Moonlit have something to do with this whole 'Ma' thing. And then there's Meta, the mother of Hansel and Gretel. Can someone tell me how it all goes together?
Project MA is the part of the Evillious Chronicles which focuses on the birth of the twin Gods, All of these people who you're talking about were Candidates but for some reason or another failed to give birth to the Gods... In the Entirety of the Evillious Chronicles, only 2 women were ever known to successfully give birth to the twins and they were Meta Salmholfer (Mother of Hansel and Gretel, Her song is Escape of Salmholfer The Witch) and Queen Ann (Sweet Ann, she doesn't have a song but she was Riliane's and Allen's mother)

Yeah, he screwed the fans over in usual Mothy fashion here by throwing in a snafu.; apparently, Irina killed Elluka, then Elluka's fiance used some forbidden thing to revive her and THAT caused the Great Fire Disaster and gave her immortality.
If the description implied that Irina is a ghoul child, I totally called it
Uhm, I don't think the Miki character just died because she fell of a cliff or the Lily character commiting suicide. "That may have just been a lie" "This is not definitely the truth" - I think they were killed in the survival game by the other participants and the Senate just decided to make up those "excuses", maybe because that entire event isn't really within law (I hope you get what I mean...)
After all, what's the meaning of a survival game if the participants die of accident or suicide?

This is what I /think/ happened: Luka was killed and became the Sorceress of Time and Meiko lived and became the new Project Ma/fugitive.

The real Elluka died. The 'Sorceress of Time' aka Elluka Clockworker is actually Levia with amnesia in Elluka's body. As for Meta, she died.
Also, Irene (killer) and meta (birther of the twins) are different people- they look the same because they are both female clones of Seth Twiright. Irene, after this, became MA. Well, until Elluka destroyed everything with that Ark explosion... Which forced Irene to use the cat body.

Plus Meta doesn't look like Irina, not all Ghoul Children are modled after Seth. Kiril actually was the one who triggered the explosion to ressurect 'Elluka' who is actually Levia fooling him. However, after Levia gets into Elluka's body, she gets amnesia. Irina, seen by Seth, was given a cat's body from him to use.
Meta isn't in this song though.

+Klea Kuqi Ma (Em ay) is a character that appears after the Battle at Merigod Plateau, when Irina brings the three of them into the Court using the Clockworker's Doll and they end up merging together.
The Ma from Project MA (mem aleph) were Eve, Meta, and Irina, at different times. No single project ever actually "succeeded", since Eve's kids were stillborn, Meta ran away, and Levianta was destroyed before Irina could have kids.
Also, there was another project that would have succeeded (and might as well have), but her kids were stolen by her husband. These were the Lucifens, whose descendants are Riliane and Allen (who may also be incarnations of them).
tl;dr we're both right, but there's another set of god twins out there we don't know much about.

Well. I feel it is extremely out of context calling a child a woman or a prostitute. What's out of context is the sentence next to that: "They hanged themselves" and the like should be "she hung herself" and the like. That their children died as a consequence of their actions. Miscarriage like 4 of my older siblings. Another way would be if they were stillborn, like Miku's twins in the story. In other words, they died before they were born but there weren't the signs of the baby's death like there would be with a miscarriage. That help? If not just tell me and maybe I can reword it. :)
If you're referring to the hanging/falling off a cliff part, it's not actually the children, it appears to either be a mistranslation or a misphrasing. The mother's are the one's who died there, Irina killed them and framed them as suicides.

kodomo and girl, anoko, sound VERY similar. And it says that girl died yesterday, tripped and fell off a cliff. As well as that girl hung herself she couldn't stand the sadness of this event. (Or whatever the exact lyrics are)

I don't get it why not choose elluka to begin with. she has magic to protect the twins and she has someone she could have sex with for the sperm to help create the kids. all the time wasted trying to see who will be ma. it could have been her and no one had to die.
