I really don't understand it too but I've just come to accept the fact that Carats will never appreciate him beyond his visuals or take him seriously for his talents and not just as a butt of their jokes. I get so sad about it but it is what it is I guess and we, Dolly's, should just focus on loving and appreciating Vernon every step of the way because he only has us. Anyway, all Dolly's know that the lack of appreciation for Vernon will never be because he's problematic or not talented, because we know he's a really wonderful human being with a beautiful mind and heart AND he's an extremely talented person.
