- Bought a new camera, took it on vacation and decided to test run it on the Oil Creek & Titusville near the cabin. While I'm still fine tuning my settings and getting used to a camcorder, I'm extremely pleased with the results.
This really brings back some great memories. I remember being on this train back in 1992 or 1993.
Beautiful line. I rode it with my family & it was very relaxing.
Beautiful scenery. You feel like you're 100 miles from anywhere when you're out in the woods
Thanks for posting this! Just chased it last week and it went well!
quite enjoyable
I'm surprised the open air car is empty in that first shot! Either that's the yard or it must have been a hot day, everyone chose the air conditioned coaches...
They don’t open it up until Drake Well. They want everyone in a seat for departure
@@rcsrailfaningproductions1225 I see. I'm not familiar with the line, so thanks for the info!
Great video, I never get tired of seeing the OC&T what are you using for a camcorder? The footage looks really good.
I had no idea this line connects up to my local short line (WNY&PRR.) Small world!
Where’s that shot at 9:00 at?
Petroleum Centre
@@rcsrailfaningproductions1225 Yea I found out where all the locations were when I rode the train last weekend, I’ll be back to chase them eventually

You can find the ticket prices on the railroad’s website and Facebook. I have a cabin the area but you can look up hotels in the Titusville/Oil City region.
