Idk what to say. Today was my dad's funeral. For some reason I decided to wake up listening to Pride FC theme to start my day and to remind my self to be strong seeing my dad one last time. It's been one stressful day for my family. For some reason The boondocks episode Mo Jackson popped in my head and I thought it would be a nice thing to do to end my date listening to the credits of this amazing show. I love you dad.
Okay, I remember watching an episode of Boondocks when I was 8-10 maybe and I was jamming out to the end credit theme. And when the "Rebel Base in association with" appeared I saw a creepy image of some man sitting in a wicker chair with an unsettling tribal mask on above the logo. (I was in my bed with the lights off, with only the tv light glowing in the room.) After that,(until I stop watching adult swim around 2012) every time I hear the end credit theme of this show, I always remember what I saw of the rebel base logo. Until two years ago, I saw my older brother watching an episode, and I watched to the end to see if the image was still there, and it wasn't... I searched online trying to find what I remember but I only come across the two logos that was shown in the series. Was it only in that one airing episode on tv that I saw, or was I remembering wrong... This bugged me. Until this day, I need help to find it, and hope people know what I am talking about...

Gonna get ragged on for this, but I was never a fan of the ending theme credits. The opener is incredible. Asheru killed that for sure. But the end just always felt...weak. Like they'd been working on this non-stop and this was the last piece and he says: "Ok, I'm tired of this shit. Let's just make a closing theme song and GTFO so we can still make it to Hooters before it closes."
Really I felt it as a great calm ending then the big pound up only to die down was so amazing I liked how the show ended calmly hyping you down after a great episode
