Big thanks to Joyce fo doing this with me! What is the most interesting thing you’ve eaten out of a can? 🤔 also sorry for the wonky lighting and audio.. I’m not sure what was going on with my equipment, but I wanted to release this video anyways and I hope you still enjoy it! ❤️
Unusually the video quality was bad too. Not sharp and your PA's camera kept being caught by hubbies. So that makes 3 cameras with competing sound recording?
YO IS THIS VIDEO 4D???? Cuz i totally tasted the gross mantis shrimp in my mouth again 🤢 #WORST Had so much fun shooting our videos! This video makes me miss you so muchhhhhh 💔
Joyce - I was quite surprised that you did not know that canned sardine bones were totally edible. You being a Chinese girl growing up in HK and Vancouver, be it the regular sardines in tomato sauce, or the Brunswick sardines in a small rectangular can.
I still think that canned food has a negative stigma in the states and honestly people think it's weird when I say I do eat canned foods but IT'S SO COOL THAT THERE ARE SO MANY JAPANESE CANNED FOOD SELECTIONS!!
I think it has the stigma because canned food here is known to have very high sodium. And they just taste a bit weird, to me at least. I’ll use frozen veggies over canned any day
the cockle and sea snail one was supposed to be eaten with a cold noodle that's sweat and spicy! just like Taylor said they taste wayyyyyy better with a bit of more spiciness
The best part of the whole video was the mantis shrimp part and Joyce standing there scooping water in her mouth using her hands nearly vomitting into your sink 😂
Hysterical! Love Joyce and you together Taylor, this was such a fun video. Love how dramatic Joyce is.....too funny! Hope you didn't feel sick after all that ?!
My hubby said Joyce is really pleasant to watch on this video. She gives that really honest feel when watching her. We did not know she was a star in her own right already- not been keeping up with canto pop stars anymore 😀
This is making me laugh. I feel so bougie now. My whole cupboard is canned food. 😂 We have fresh veggies too but i love the ease of the already prepped cans!
I would love to try Japanese canned food, especially canned bread...but I stop at canned organs, seafood, and meat... a little hesitant to go there. Hats off to you guys for trying it!
remember to never keep your canned food in the can it came in and put it in the fridge in a closed tight separate container, you can drain it or keep broth in when you put it away, but ive learned it can cause saminella or bad sickness if you dont take it out of can if u got leftovers that is. I dont know just thought id share incase not many others know it.
I was thinking some things need to be heated up, you don’t open a can of soup and eat it cold.🤮🤢 some things are just added to a recipe. I’d have heated stuff up at least. Were there instructions on the label? We have lobster paste that looks like that but more red/orange colour, we use it in chowders or other recipes. I wouldn’t eat it without at least mixed with mayo on bread. You gave it a good go so 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼. I wouldn’t have put most of those things near my nose let alone in my mouth. As they used to say “ gag me with a spoon”
Taylor, I buy the Full-Breakfast-in-a-tin food often. (We say tin instead of can). It's in most supermarkets in South Wales, UK. Do you have a PO Box? Would be happy to send one. P.S. Love the dynamic between you two. :P
Omg this is such a good concept! What about cooking with canned food? Some of the canned items were Korean and I definitely see them being extra tasty when cooked right 😍
I agree with Joyce. Dao Si Leng Yue (black bean carp) is heavenly whether eaten striaght up or stir fried with A spinach. It's grotesquely packaged but its so yum!
The two of you have such a sweet friendship. As for canned foods, when I was little, back in the 80s, we would get canned bacon (we didn't have electricity, so this kept well and was great for camping). It did need to be cooked, but it was sooo good and salty. Also, SPAM is popular in Alaska and Hawaii (especially Hawaii). As for fish, the canning process (heat and pressure) softens the bones, which are a great source of calcium. I've had a wide variety of American canned foods, but the bacon is by far the most nostalgic and hard to find.
the sea snail is Korean and people dont eat it like that raw 😂 we always marinate with spicy pepper paste and all the other ingredients ❤️I am not even brave enough to eat them raw **Also there were some other Korean canned foods that you tried so please add on the title that it’s not only Japanese!
i am french and we eat a lot of fish in can, it's very famous and délicious, i got a tip for you use some real lemon jus with it and stream patatoes it's a dream easy meal
Food in can is really good and healthy too! In Spain we have a lot of variety, seeing you that surprise with sardines in a can shocked me!!! In Spain is so common, cultural shock hahaha. Love the video!
Wow, your hair has been looking better and better in every video since the hair transformation 😂😍 honestly wasn’t feeling it at first but now I kind of want this color too!!
Love this video!!! I want more reviews on Japanese, Cantonese, Korean, Chinese+ foods that people in the West might not have heard about. Also THE MANTIS SHRIMP 😂😂😂😂
The idea of LUXURY and CANNED FOOD being in the same sentence does not sit right with me, but I love it hahah
What else would rich people eat during the apocalypse? Lol
Think of emergency earthquake
supplies
@@DinosourousRexx lesser rich people. ☠️

thank you for having meeeeeee~ definitely not what i had in mind when you said lunch at your place LOL
About sardines in cans, even in Canada, the bones can be eaten, it's so soft😋, you can't notice it 🙂
Was really funny to watch 😂👍🏻
Unusually the video quality was bad too. Not sharp and your PA's camera kept being caught by hubbies. So that makes 3 cameras with competing sound recording?
Bread out of a can, it was kinda dry.
The way their outfits, hair and make up, but also VIBES harmonize 😍 Friendship goals!
Awww ☺️☺️☺️
Joyce is really gorgeous and has such a bubbly personality! would love to see more of her in your content
Oh, no. Please. She's lovely, but on her own channel. The goofiness is too much.
Joyce's mother was a very famous HK comedian. Seems like the funny, over the top personality really rubbed off!
YO IS THIS VIDEO 4D????
Cuz i totally tasted the gross mantis shrimp in my mouth again 🤢

Had so much fun shooting our videos! This video makes me miss you so muchhhhhh 💔
Wow 郑欣宜
I love that the black bean fish can

I have loved both videos you two put out on this channel. You two are so fun to watch. ❤️
Hey Joyce love u from SG
Yay for Taylor being one of the last few RUclipsrs that isnt putting nonskippable ads every 2 minutes.
I still think that canned food has a negative stigma in the states and honestly people think it's weird when I say I do eat canned foods but IT'S SO COOL THAT THERE ARE SO MANY JAPANESE CANNED FOOD SELECTIONS!!
Yea it’s def not like that in Japan! There’s many canned foods that are high quality 😊
canned beans, veggies, and fruits are a life saver. Also Chef Boyardee.
@@kaelynmynhier2406 RIGHT? CHEF BOYARDEE IS A STAPLE!! i love it so much hahaha
I think it has the stigma because canned food here is known to have very high sodium. And they just taste a bit weird, to me at least. I’ll use frozen veggies over canned any day
Lindsey Stein some canned foods def have a lot of salt but there are a lot of great options that don’t have as much!!! But yes I love frozen food too
People with Joyce’s personality are literally the best
*Joyce is such a joy* 💫💗💖💕

OMG you guys are so funny! The maple syrup tree got me 🤣🤣🤣
Your friend eating the stinky can so casually is such a badass. On the other hand, such expensive food is not to be wasted.
Taylor, I buy the Full-Breakfast-in-a-tin food often. (We say tin instead of can). It's in most supermarkets in South Wales, UK. Do you have a PO Box? Would be happy to send one. P.S. Love the dynamic between you two. :P
I really hope she does have a PO Box cuz i really wanna invite myself over and try it with her
Let's all send canned food from other countries!!
Yay Joyce is back!
Cant get rid of me that easily!
Ok but, Taylor you're looking🔥
Omg this is such a good concept! What about cooking with canned food? Some of the canned items were Korean and I definitely see them being extra tasty when cooked right 😍
WOW! Joyce!! The last time I seen her on tv was like 15 years ago! Looking fab girl 😉
I like it when Joyce appears in your video
I agree with Joyce. Dao Si Leng Yue (black bean carp) is heavenly whether eaten striaght up or stir fried with A spinach. It's grotesquely packaged but its so yum!

Alaskan king crab (not minced) in a can is absolutely delicious! Expensive though too...like 25$ a can.
"It smells like a Canadian campfire" 😂😂😂😂😂
