More than one person has commented how listening to my side of the conversation sometimes seems to devolve into a lot of "yeah, y'know" and "well that's what I was thinkin' eh?" I suggest you watch No Country for Old Men. She is pretty much the only actress in the movie. She is scottish, but does an amazing west Texas accent in it.

Why would you be shocked she is from Glasgow, we have produced the best bands, comedians, and actors, musicians going from Scotland. Glasgow has in all my lifetime had a thriving artistic scene from music, theatre and art.

I saw Travis when they were Glass Onion in the Apollo Studios bar in Glasgow. It was a recording studio next to where the Apollo theatre was and it had a pub where the bands could play. I think it was the time there were female hecklers shouting things including “show up your hairy carrot”.

Those are diet Glasgow accents. Normally you wouldn't understand them. My girlfriend is from Glasgow and her accent is quite annoying.
