    bummed about this result, I really thought Lemieux was the real deal. He needs to learn that not every shot needs to be power shot.

    David Lemieux is good but you not proven until you fight a real Mexican Warrior (BOXER) :D

    Lemieux looks to be a way better fighter now and definitely hits much harder.

    The Story of two words here! Amateur v.s a Professional I said all along one day he was going to have to fight someone with more than 2 weeks notice ! And here we are ! If David would give Raines the same time he gave Rubio , It would be a repeat of this fight,But the problem with that is the 1st time we were supposed to fight David we had 7 Weeks notice then two weeks before the fight his coach said he was not ready for Raines.And they called a out of shape Donny McCrary.
    You cant do that!

    @StateOfBoxing This is Amber's mistake. Using the same old stratagy on this fighter was David's demise. He had David head hunting too early. He started off good with the body combo's but jumped the shark and wore himself out going to the head. If Rubio lost his legs it would have been been a reverse outcome. To me it seems.

    @StateOfBoxing BOUUUUU !!!!! This guy is only 21 and took this fight too early and never had lost a round before... havent had adversity too.. now he knows he cant knock everyone..he got the speed the strenght and grreat technique.. could cut the ring more butt this young kid will be a the top of the division soon

    @PugilistRick i agree bro. he should of went to the body more and he should of studied rubio more too. Rubio has a good overhand right. Teddy said his jab was slow sometimes. but i agree when he got on the inside he didn't go to the body. every shot was a power punch from lemieux

    @QCBEC I'm mexican and I don't think that David Lemieux is week. I think that he could win a rematch. The kid is good. But there are alot of Mexican greats, more then you can count. On the other hand Lucian bute is a beast and he has taken out some worthy mexican opponents. I would like to see Bute fight Lemieux in the future. Not anytime to soon but not when they are to old either. Lemieux is no bum though, he will be back for sure, no dout about that. Can't wait til his next fight.

      dude you read my mind! he doesnt look like a young kid he looks like a man now he has a WAY BIGGER frame/ mid section and jesus god he hits hard holy shit i think even harder than GGG rosado showed that.

    • @sogsogmog
      @sogsogmog 9 лет назад +1

      A Golovkin with a flu carved Rosado face in 7 th and Lemiux beat ko'd Rosaod in 10 rounds. Rosado was fighting back with Lemiux and even rocking him but with Golovkin he was on the defensive most of the fight.

    What if Rubio had Margarito's style "magic handwraps" here? The confidence with which Rubio lands his shots doesn't convince me at all. Rubio also trains in the same gym as Margarito...

  • @NeoOsiris19

    This kid has a lot to learn, looking good against cans is one thing, it's another to do that to a seasoned vet. And he found out that night. Personally, I don't think he's anything more than just a puncher, when he can't get the finish he's got nothing, offensively or defensively. He pretty much had no idea how to win after Rubio survived that early flurry.

    David is the best Boxer but he needs more experience...Rubio has all the experience and he studied David well..David could've win this fight but he made a mistake...everyone learns from their mistake and become more stronger!! David has all the qualities of a boxer and he will become a champion of the world.

    ya ill admit i didn't give Rubio a chance either. but i knew he had knock out powers anyone who's 42 knockouts and 50 wins can knock you out. kelly pavlik was to tall and strong for him. kofi juntai got a good hit on em. but he survived lemieux. he knew what was coming.

    2 B class fighters only Rubio is the better overall fighter, besides power he has nothing, he looks good here for a while and all his other fights cause they stand in front of him, someone actually ranked will give him problems or beat him like B clasd Rubio

      GGG picks his shots much better than Lemieux. Also Rubio was older when fighting GGG.

  • @Paul.Burrell
    @Paul.Burrell 9 лет назад

    Look at Lemieux's body in all his prev fights. Now look at his body and stature, and tell me he isn't juicing. His chin is much better, and his shots way more devastating. Look at his resume, and tell me how he became this monster all of a sudden. haven't we seen this before?

    • @MyCesarman
      @MyCesarman 9 лет назад

      You right ? Something is being put in his food

    • @andyelliott8027
      @andyelliott8027 9 лет назад

      +Paul Burrell He's not a monster now,he's been torn apart with no trouble by GGG.

    • @Paul.Burrell
      @Paul.Burrell 9 лет назад

      For one I understand they had random testing. I knew he would get destroyed. He was another hype job. His resume is weak, and he was catapulted to being some kind of monster by beating a shot Guerrero, Rosado who has never even beaten a B level fighter, and N'Dam who's claim to fame was he kept getting up after Quillen dropped him. Anybody with sense who doesn't buy into the media hype, who has actually watched boxing for years would know David had no shot, and would fold once touched with punches by GGG. Lemieux's trainer is weak, and they stupidly thought they could steamroll Golovkin. They had no boxing plan, and they have a fighter in Lemieux who wouldn't be able to carry it out even if they had 1.

    Lemieux has power, but he can´t hit water if he was on a boat, in the middle of the pacific ocean, while raining, holding an Evian water bottle in his hand. The man suks.
