  • Sky Ranch here in baguio is small, housing just 12 rides. you can even walk around the perimeter in just 5 minutes or even less depending on your pace.
    Tickets and Rates
Entrance fee for the park is P100 regardless of whether you'll be availing of the rides or not. You'll be paying individually for each ride which costs either P50 or P100. Below is the list of rides I was able to take note of:
Baguio Eye (Ferris Wheel) - P50 - photo featured in this blog post
Super Viking - P100 - featured in this blog post
    Drop Tower - P100
Sky Cruiser - P100 - featured in this blog post
    Double Decker Carousel - P50
Mini Pirate (Super Vikings but for kids) - P50
    Flying Bus - P50
    Funny Swing - P50
    Road Train - P80
Red Baron - P50 - featured in this blog post
    Lolly Swing - P50
For this particular visit, we just rode the Super Vikings, and thankfully it was way more fun than I expected. If you sit on either edge, you'll definitely feel the adrenaline rushing.
The Super Vikings was the one ride I was able to avail, since all others are no longer "appropriate" for me. We could have ridden the Ferris Wheel, but the sun's too strong to be up there.
Most rides are geared for kids, which is why we just let my friend's nephew enjoy a few more rides before we left. They got to ride this pedal-run ride (called Sky Cruiser) which twists and turns depending on which way you'll steer it.
They also have this simple ride like a Carousel but with planes instead of horses/unicorns. It's called the Red Barron. The kiddo definitely enjoyed it, and seeing him giggle was priceless. Luckily, I was able to snap some photos of him enjoying the ride.
Unfortunately, that's basically about it. We just chilled a little bit while we were deciding where to go, but our entire stay didn't last an hour. There weren't really much to do especially for adults.
The story changes a bit when you are with kids. In a way, you'll be content seeing them happy.

The Diplomat Hotel was originally built as a retreat house that would serve as vacation house for the Dominican order. It was remodeled as a hotel but later ceased operations and became abandoned. At present, the Diplomat Hotel story is referred to as one of the creepiest tales in the City of Pines.
#2 Diplomat Hotel: An Eerie History
According to lore, when the Japanese conquered Baguio, many Filipinos, including soldiers, priests, and nuns, were killed and decapitated. Over the years, many residents and visitors claimed to have heard unusual screams and seen priests and nuns with severed heads at the hotel.
Premise. The series centers on Kate Wyler, the new United States ambassador to the United Kingdom, as she helps to defuse an international crisis, forges strategic alliances and adjusts to her new place in the spotlight. She also manages her deteriorating marriage to fellow career diplomat Hal Wyler.
In the 1970s, the wartorn building was converted to the sophisticated and beautiful Diplomat Hotel, but the hotel was shut down by the ’80s, and left abandoned. The deserted, deteriorating building became infamous for being one of the most haunted ruins in the country. Various folklore and ghost stories surround its gray and washed-out red walls. Many people saw headless apparitions at night, and reported hearing screams, cries, banging on doors, and other strange and desperate noises. Some believe the building is haunted by the restless spirits of its grim history.
    -------
Baguio City is full of life from sunset to sundown until the wee hours - a city awake 24/7. One of the reasons that is keeping the city awake is the night market.
This started back in 2007 started by some vendors of ukay-ukay or sellers of secondhand apparels. Baguio City is also known for these ubiquitous shops. If you are lucky and have a great bargaining skill, then you can buy original pre-loved products at a cheap price.
Bargaining starts at 9:00 until past midnight.
The city allotted half of Harrison Road, a national road, for businessmen to display their goods. The road is turned into another colorful and a different kind of busyness at night. What used to be a display of secondhand items, now you can buy rip offs.
This is not a shopping mall. Each vendor has a small space to display items. The stalls are cramped. Claustrophobia is real. That's why ready yourself to jostle and be jostled, push and shove. Be mindful of your valuables and turn up your vigilance to the highest level.
We never miss Chocolate de Batirol whenever we go to Baguio. Their hot chocolate - made using high quality cacao beans and prepared when you order it is delicious and really warms you up on a cold Baguio day.
