The problem isn’t that Ravens fans feel like everything has to be positive about Lamar. It’s the truth that he’s unfairly scrutinized. He won MVP twice because he deserved it and still we have people saying he didn’t deserve it. He’s top 5 in QBR and Passer Rating and people still say he can’t pass. It's beacuse Lamar has been garbage in the postseason with just two wins. The Raven offense has averaged 12.3 points per game in his 4 losses. At least Allen and Burrow have some signature playoff games where they showed up. As of right now, Lamar is an amazing regular season quarterback. Very mediocre in the playoffs though...

Rodgers is 12-10 in the playoff with a Super Bowl win with 5 appearances in Conference Championship games. Lamar is 2-4 with one appearance in a Championship Game. Not really comparable at this point.

Lets use context before lamar came in the league bill polian said lamar wasnt a leader he couldnt play the position efficiently and he was too short. From that point on every media member from RUclips espn and fox ran with that narrative. Stephen a tried to embarrass this man on tv saying he couldn't throw the football. Then when lamar took over and got to the playoffs stephen a started the narrative he cant win a playoff game insinuating his 7 and 1 record was a fluke. I can't believe there is someone arguing that Lamar is treated fairly by the media. If you don't understand the difference between what Lamar has faced as compared to those other QBs then that is fine, I'll shine some light on it. These QBs may get criticism, however, they also get praise DESPITE their poor performances. If Dak plays poorly, they will criticize him, if he plays well then they say he put the team on his back. Same with Herbert. However, when the next season comes around, these players will get mentioned among the top QBs in the league. Allen and Burrow can play very poorly and the media will still say they are great, take this last game for example. If Lamar had a game with 180 total yards and 30% completion percentage, the narrative would be that they should have run the ball because Lamar struggles throwing from the pocket. The reality is that Josh Allen and burrow get the benefit of the doubt, because their body of work says they can throw the ball. HOWEVER, Lamar's body of work also says he can throw the ball, yet the narrative remains, why is that? Ultimately here is the crux of the issue: Lamar Jackson has won 2 NFL MVPS, he has had his team as the 1 seed twice, he has led the league in passing touchdowns, and last year he was in the AFC championship game, and he was voted the #2 player in the entire NFL last year by other NFL players. Media and Lamar hater arguments over the years. 1. He is not a QB and should switch positions. Beat that. 2. He can’t throw. Beat that. 3. He can’t throw outside the numbers. Beat that. 4. It's beacuse Lamar has been garbage in the postseason with just two wins. The Raven offense has averaged 12.3 points per game in his 4 losses. At least Allen and Burrow have some signature playoff games where they showed up. As of right now, Lamar is an amazing regular season quarterback. Very mediocre in the playoffs though...

I can't believe there is someone arguing that Lamar is treated fairly by the media. If you don't understand the difference between what Lamar has faced as compared to those other QBs then that is fine, I'll shine some light on it. These QBs may get criticism, however, they also get praise DESPITE their poor performances. If Dak plays poorly, they will criticize him, if he plays well then they say he put the team on his back. Same with Herbert. However, when the next season comes around, these players will get mentioned among the top QBs in the league. Allen and Burrow can play very poorly and the media will still say they are great, take this last game for example. If Lamar had a game with 180 total yards and 30% completion percentage, the narrative would be that they should have run the ball because Lamar struggles throwing from the pocket. The reality is that Josh Allen and burrow get the benefit of the doubt, because their body of work says they can throw the ball. HOWEVER, Lamar's body of work also says he can throw the ball, yet the narrative remains, why is that?
Ultimately here is the crux of the issue: Lamar Jackson has won 2 NFL MVPS, he has had his team as the 1 seed twice, he has led the league in passing touchdowns, and last year he was in the AFC championship game, and he was voted the #2 player in the entire NFL last year by other NFL players. Despite all of that, Lamar did not make Nick Wright's top 5 QB list to start the season. If you can explain how that makes any sense, then I'll concede that I was wrong.

Here’s my perspective as a ravens fan. I see two things. In one aspect, either Lamar is beloved or hated, no in between. Those who love him make every excuse for him and those who hate him never give him credit. Another thing I notice is the noise of the haters. It’s not that everyone hates Lamar.
