My bump in the night gun has a Olight on it. Going on 4+yrs. Glad to see someone else appreciate these lights. Im a flashoholic with 20+ brands of lights in my arsenal and Olight is top 3. Also a former Marine Corps Raider. Still a Marine. Olight, Streamlight and surefire are guaranteed go to.

I have one on every rifle I have, the only people that don’t like olight feel that way because
      1. The user error caused explosion years ago but the same has happened with surefire , streamlight etc
      2. People feel like if they pay more it’s always the better option 😂 people are paying upwards of $300 for a light just because of the brand.

@Svnd_man I totally agree. I've got a R40 seeker from 2014 still kicking and crazy bright. Along with several weapon lights. I'll buy another 20 Olights before I drop $350 on a cloud defensive BS.

Yep, same with me too. This new Olight Odin S is exactly what I've been looking for. I've had the regular Odin and the Odin Mini - both great lights - but on a 12 ga shotgun I needed something that would hold the tape switch cap on more securely. Olight clearly listened to its users because not only did they give us a secure tape switch, but also the ability to use regular batteries, the locking mechanism on the 45 degree mount and with the electronics now potted gives me everything I need.

@@pewymcpewerson1395 update, I went ahead and got a modlite for my do all mk18.
Besides the ability to swap heads, pressure pads , batteries & all the aftermarket support, there’s not much to justify paying $500+.
Haven’t looked into warranties on olight vs a high end brand but I found some torture test videos that can somewhat justify it…. Still don’t see myself in a scenario where the light is submerged under a bunch of water or getting slammed repeatedly.

I know people hate on Olight. But my EDC is an Olight Baton with the magnetic tail cap. Sometimes when I am grilling at night ill stick it to the top of the charcoal grill to light up what I am doing. On one particular occasion I lit the grill and forgot about it and went inside for 15 minutes. The light was left cooking in flame and above the burning charcoal the entire time. When I came outside it was still on. I had to swat it off the grill because it was way too hot to touch. I picked it up with a rag and turned it off and looked it over and didn't see anything wrong it it. Once it cooled i clicked it on and it turned on like nothing had happened. I still carry that light in my pocket every day. Also, I am ashamed to admit I've actually done that about 3 times and the flashlight is still going strong.

I edc the baton pro and I have ran it over with my altima and literally parked right on top of it. I got out and seen the led head staring at me from under the tire. Promptly pulled forward and the light is fine. Obviously it has some scratches and scuffs, but the glass wasn't cracked, broken, or overly marred up, the charging ring wasn't compromised in any way, and the plastic cap over the button was not cracked or punctured. The clip was not bent. Functionally, it is still a perfect light, 2 years later. I love it. Only regret was not getting it in the pro max instead of just the pro. But I love it regardless

I had a terrible time with the full size Odin light/laser. The mount developed bad wobble and the replacement too. I finally told Olight I wanted my money back and they stated it was past the guarantee period and I finally got them to agree to store credit. I've done a lot of business with Olight and am a Yellow Diamond and wonder if I would have gotten my money back, sort of. I use Olight every day and have given them as gifts for some time. The Odin is the only problem I've had

Simply because they're a Made in China company. And a lot of gun lovers are Murica or nothin. Which is admirable, but not always affordable. IE SureFire. Streamlight is in a similar price bracket as Olight and is an American company, but I find Olight to be more... Innovative, in their products and designs. But that comes with a trade off in some durability. Not that they aren't durable, but SureFire is a tougher built light. They are just more proven in duty use. I'm not in the jungle or desert, or surviving a zombie outbreak. Olight is just fine for 99% of us. Google says they're HQ'd in Taiwan, but other links say China... But regardless, they are all made in China. So do with that information as you choose.

Laser broke and he broke the pressure pad within a few days of him playing capture the flag… that light was no match for those 250 FPS mini darts! 😂 stream light or higher for WML (IMO)

I have to disagree with you. I've talked to their customer service multiple times and have NEVER had any issues. They've always been very responsive and helpful. In fact, just the other day I inquired about getting a 2nd backup battery for my new Olight Odin S and they were out of stock on the website. Not only did Olight respond to my inquiry right away but also they sent me a battery FREE OF CHARGE as an apology for being out of stock. So they must have some set aside for the lights and not for general sale but that was simply fantastic that they did that.
