The most disappointing was the paid promotion of Junaid Akram and Sanam Saeed. JA constantly schools how our Qaum is this and that, this is hypocrisy imo. Same with SS. The rest were irrelevant.
If they spoke against the injustice against that pious woman, Bushra Bibi, whose _Iddat_ case is most likely the first one in Muslim history, and has a very wide implication on divorced women in Pakistan, then I might cut them some slack. But I am not aware if they did.

I couldn't agree more with Hasan when he pointed out how wrong it was to show the "Dargah" scene in Burns Road Ke R/J....! Hasan is absolutely right by saying (in not so many words) the right way was to show the wife praying to Allah directly!
Why didn't these celebrities point out that the present governments of the country and three provinces stole people's mandate and that the Thief Minister of Punjab is essentially a very _Zaalim_ woman whose _Zulms_ are not unknown?
This was all part of the Thief Minister to portray herself as a legitimate premier of Punjab after losing her own seat. If a robber robs in a big way and then gives a few pennies to a few people, you don't praise her charity, you focus on the big picture, which is that she carried out a huge robbery.
So, for these celebrities to participate in her propaganda is a very serious matter, especially since they were paid to do it.
Sorry, in these times when people's basic human rights are being violated on a daily basis and the people are suffering while the elite enjoy privileged lifestyles, there was absolutely no excuse for them to participate in this propaganda.
I am personally saddened by Sanam Saeed for whom I have had great respect and was looking forward to her drama, Barzakh. However, on principle, I will not watch it, nor will I watch the dramas of other actors who posted the propaganda videos.

Having political views and siding with a particular political party is one thing under normal circumstances. But to ignore the atrocities committed by Maryam Nawaz and participate in her disinformation campaign and be paid for it is too much for me. PK mainstream media may be hiding her atrocities, but I don't live in PK so I have seen tons of videos of atrocities carried out under her watch and directly ordered by her.

Unless and until she publicly apologizes for being a tool of a _Zaalim_ I have lost all love and respect for her since it's not a simple matter of siding with a political leader who has come to power legitimately (remember she, her father and uncle, all had lost their seats, but came to power because of the biggest theft of elections in PK history since Awami League was banned in East Pakistan and its seats were given to other parties, a few weeks or so later, we lost East Pakistan); rather, she is endorsing Maryam Nawaz's premiership and legitimizing it and has, to my knowledge, not said anything against her documented atrocities.

Keeping your and my views on Sahil Adeem and KRQ aside, Ghamdi is a controversial personality who has modernised Islam beyond a certain boundary. If you really want to learn Islam, listen to Dr Israr Ahmed who is a non controversial, well educated scholar and not your typical mullah.

Ghamdi is one of the biggest scams for most liberal muslims to accept a version thats easy for them to follow, not necessarily the correct way of Islam.

Firstly Ghamdi sb is not a scholar. His some views are against the basic principles of Islam. So please avoid giving hype to him or promoting him.
Islam has space for disagreement between scholars. Just because one scholar doesn't agree with another's pov, they don't say the other is not a scholar. I think as lay people we should refrain from sweeping statements such as "ghamidi is not a scholar". He has way more knowledge than us. Gained over a lifetime of religious study. You can 100% disagree with his pov but you can't discredit him
@@lizdarcy4life true a lay person cannot but scholars can and they have warned people tremendous times. Also I am not talking about any masjids maulvis but real scholars from any fiqh. Ghamdi sb has rejected many authentic ahadiths so it alone should be enough to not follow him.
And as a muslim it is my responsibility to tell this but to agree or not is other person's matter. So I would suggest to listen ulemas criticism on ghamdi sb and the decision will be yours.

Hassan just to point out that the definition which Sahil laid out of “Taghut” is not aligned with the actual definition of the word according to Islam. It literally means having a deity which is put up to worship other than Allah. So Idols are the “Taghut” and worshiping them is Shirk, which is indeed the biggest sin in Islam. It is really important to get the definition of the word right.
Taghut is any thing that you worship or agree to and accept instead of Allah's command,

When I was in Alevels (a million years ago😂), my friend told us about her “crazy/evil” cousin who tried to kill her newborn. The husband divorced her and she moved back with her parents. Back then we had no idea about anything related to mental health or post partum anything but in hindsight, we realized her poor cousin had post partum psychosis. She was ostracized from society and still lives with her parents. Rarely meets people because people still consider her as crazy or criminal.
@@sarat8577someone in my family went through post partum psychosis which happens to 1 in a 1,000 moms - unfortunate she was that ONE mom who went through it - She went to her parents house for 6-8 months to heal, underwent therapy and medication and by the time the baby turned 1.5 yrs old, she was totally healed off the meds - Today I see the same mom loving the same baby with all her heart that she couldn’t love when he was born -

Which indesputably makes him a disbeliever. Kitab & hikmah both are essential for faith. You couldn't name a better scholar? Maulvi Tariq Jameel. Nouman Ali Khan. Uthman bint Farooq. Mufti Menk. KRQ is an attention seeker. He also knows he’s in Humayun Saeed’s camp and so people want to be in his good books for roles. He completely cashes on this and tries to scare actors. I remember how he once got Sami Khan to apologize to him in Kaaba kangaroo days.
Mr Adeem was reviewed by Raja Zia and he clarifies Mr Deem’s standing as a religious scholar. His taqhoot definition was completely wrong. Please watch Raja Zia’s talk done on Saturday.

Good works to re-build all structures, which have been destroyed, stand on their own. They do not require paid promotions by celebrities, who make misleading videos full of falsehood and some truth, but completely void of the big picture: that she lost her own seat as did her father and uncle and there has been a lot of atrocities committed by her and under her watch.

There is a whole lot of bollywood outside dharma, yrf and bhansali and its amazing too. And fawad might be the biggest actor of Pakistan but he has literally done 3 films, in which the first one was mostly about sonam, and the other was multistarrer and in the third movie he only had a cameo. You can't exactly say he was paired opposite alia and anushka.
Coming to Vaani, she has done pretty good movies and has worked opposite big names of bollywood. Maybe because of the popularity back in 2016 he might have had offers with some of the big names back then, but that doesn't mean he still has that popularity/star power to bag a role against the likes of alia or deepika or katrina in 2024. But just because of his fans expectations a good actress is being subjected to name calling (C grade actress and what not)
Bollywood churns out movies like crazy, and the industry and even the audience has a very fickle memory. Great actors with many hits become irrelevant here if we don't see them for a few years. I think this is just a weird expectation that he should only work in dharma or with bhansali or yrf Or with leading ladies. He is an amazing actor and if he has chosen a script he must have had strong reasons for it. And by some rumours this project is for Netflix, so it doesn't make it Bollywood.

@Somethinghaute Re Postpartum depression, on a usual office day one of my subordinate who recently had a baby came to me to take permission to leave immediately as his local pub manager called him and told him that his GF is at the pub and when he asked her how is the baby, she replied which baby? The pub manager sensed something wrong and called my colleague. So that woman left his few days old baby alone at home and went to pub to have a drink. Because she was suffering from postpartum depression. I was not even married then but today being mum of two children I totally understand, what a woman goes through especially in a foreign country where the couple have no family support to raise the baby.
