Exactly where I am now. I am a single mom of 4 kids. I had an abusive childhood and found men just like my step father. I am now in a space where I've been single and abstinent for 5 years. I'm just on a self love journey with no desire to date at the moment but I love these videos.
College grad Good for you sis! I'm 28 and been abstinent for 16 years. And some guys I've dated had tried to sleep with me eventhough i tell them from the beginning that I am abstinent. When I feel I am being pressured to do some sexual immoral thing..I run to the hills. And never look back. And guess what? These are the men that always come back..always chasing me. I guess it's in their DNA to want a woman that doesn't give in too easily. Let's keep our legs closed and protect our precious heart. And give ourselves only to that man that is worthy of them.
Same here, I also only date men who are equally-yolked! He is excited to hear that I’m saving myself for marriage, as it aligns with his own beliefs and he will lead us both down the path to marriage the way God intended.
I lost my virginity to my first husband but he broke his vows by leaving when i was sick and he refused to work like we had discussed so he lied to get where he was. And he was a lazy bum and a quitter. Next time will be better ive been celibate and focused on the qualities I want, and the ones I have to offer that are non sexual. Such as food, and conversations, creating a comfortable space to be together.
Amanda C I’m so sorry to hear about what happened with your first husband. Praise God that He’ll use what the enemy meant for evil and turn it into good! It’s already happening in your heart, I hope you’re excited to meet your future forever husband that will be more perfect for you than you could ever imagine! 💕
That analogy was awesome, it brought my standards into focus. Standard #1 I am not tolerating passive-aggressive behavior from anyone. No one insults me then wraps it up in a bow with I am just playing. Standard #2. Don't date men with more than one child under 21. Standard #3. No kissing on the 1st date. This is more for me because "Miss Lucy" thinks she runs the show. Also, I can see how he acts when I say no.
Thank you love! And those are great and good ways to get to see what his personality is like. It sounds like you have good boundaries. Thanks for sharing!
“He still wants to see if you value yourself the way that you want him to value you.” YES sis!! This is the best explanation of testing a potential partner that I’ve heard. So many people misconstrue this as negative, but why shouldn’t he or you learn that about each other?!
That's right love! This is a tough concept to believe but it is the truth. If you honor it, you will see the treatment from men change. Thanks for watching!
My boyfriend said he felt like I was a detective going after a criminal for the way I asked a zillion questions when I met him and we started talking. I admit it was intense, but I knew what I wanted and didn't want to end up with less. He said that I would have known this information if I had let the conversation naturally flow. Uhmm... Maybe, but I didn't want to leave it to fate. That was my way of vetting him. He's an amazing guy and everything I ever wanted in a man. And I think he went after me because I made it clear that I wasn't dating just to date. There had to be a reason to get out of my comfort zone (singleness) and a purpose (marriage).
That turned me off from a guy, he didn't ask in a normal flowing way...just like a weird job interview. I want to be able to converse with someone normally..and if there is something I can't tolerate, I wish them luck out there. For example, there was this guy who smoked weed and cigarettes. I don't smoke and I don't like guys who smoke. I told him thank you but no thank you. Wished him luck. He is no longer on my potential dates. But that came up in the conversation naturally.
Same. Lol. Men just make me feel one way one day and one way the next day. I think I'm frustrated with the fact that a lot of them are lazy when it comes to conversation so I don't even feel like dating. We can't even talk and we just met...how?? 🙄
How do I feel about men? Yeah, I'm not ready to date again. I struggle with loneliness and I've told myself that I won't make the same mistake and date out of desperation, but it's hard.
Find fun activities to do for yourself or with friends. Build your interests and try new things. You won't feel so lonely once you get out and take a little time to connect to yourself

Yayyyyyyyyyy!!! Congrats sis!! Many people say my standards are high which they are because I been through a lot in the past. I do cut off people with THE QUICKEST!! I definitely want to be married and people try to make me feel bad about it because I am young. I definitely am not ready right now but once I finish school, travel then I will be fully ready. I’m so happy I found your channel. I had a rough childhood and attracted a narcissistic partner and had a child by 20 . I felt I could be safe and feminine with him and then he destroyed that part of me once he had control. Fast forward and I’m 25 and a single mom of a 4 yr old with special needs. I’m now softening and adapting as well as healing. I’m working on opening my heart and mind to dating and these tips you share are so amazing, I honestly felt so confused and afraid of the idea of men and of even embracing myself and the idea of being open to others. I truly feel God brought me to your videos, even how you touched on having your non-negotiables like faith made me feel more confident to have mine and stick to them. You are the big sis I always needed I swear lol ❤️ blessings to you thank you for sharing
Thank you for this great video! I tried asking my friend these questions before she got into a relationship. I asked her what her goals were of the relationship. That confused her and she asked what I meant! I think she was afraid to ask him too many questions, perhaps revealing they weren't a match. It would mean she would have to start over again dating new people. I could see it from a mile away and she's not happy in the relationship now, but she's stuck in a lease with him for the rest of the year! He even quit his job. Ladies, ask yourself and your man the hard questions. You owe it to yourself!
See, that part right there “she’s in a lease for 1 year and he QUIT his job!” This is why I gave my own daughter who lives in Georgia, Don’t shack up with a person you don’t even know yet, I’m Sooo thankful she followed my advice❣️🙏

Thank you so much for this video! I’m on a journey to becoming the best version of myself and the relationships we have with others is definitely a reflection of how much we value ourselves. I really like that you discussed non-negotiables because that’s something a lot of us struggle with. But when we realize our worth we’ll stop letting things slide. There are men out there who can give us what we need and more so no more settling!

I'm looking forward to all of your future videos about high standards and boundaries!
The things you are talking about in this video are SOO important! It goes deep. I'm currently doing womb healing process with meditations every night for about two months to finally deeply feel who I really am and what do I want and deserve. It is life changing.
The analogy at the beginning was funny because I really don't drink fountain or tap water. If it's not bottled or from a filtered dispenser, I don't want it. Lmao Great video as always!
That last point really hit home... more specifically than you know! It’s so true that standards are not case-by-case but must all work and mesh together! Thank you. 😘
So true. We price ourselves. In the bible In Esther the women brought to the king Xerxes had to choose their own jewellery to wear when they were to meet the king. This jewellery was to pay off their bridal price to be given to their parents. They determined it themselves. Let us learn ladies!
You raise good thoughts and points to consider. Setting standards provides us clarity and helps us stay true to ourselves. One last comment: it's best to focus on *being* the right mate than on finding one. Be our best ethical selves will draw the man worth considering.
Wow Dr Michelle, what an insightful content as always. All these Questions have sparked something inside of me. I desire marriage and have been so unfortunate in relationships. I have never asked myself some of these Questions b4. U have given me a good start while I am still healing from my last failed relationship which was 9 months ago. U mentioned Therapy and that's a brilliant idea bcos I am drawning in hurt & plenty of disappointments from the past. I will certainly give it a try, I have absolutely nothing to lobey. I have fallen in love with Ur channel & I am growing from it with every Video. Your are a true God sent 💞
Congratulations on 100k, DR. Michelle!!!! 👏🏾👏🏾🥳👸🏾 I have been waiting on this for the longest!! Your content, energy and positivity = very refreshing!! Thanks for the wonderful content!! :)
I'm 22 now and have been in three 1+ year relationships, and although I don't see myself getting married soon and not even to my current partner, having relationship experience has been crucial for my own personal development and for narrowing down what I really want. All I can say is, don't knock it until you try it 😘 not every relationship needs to have marriage as the goal.
I have just come across your videos and really delighted I found you. I have no sisters and most of my friends are male. I already dress up and look after myself but I needed that extra encouragement to stay true to myself and continue looking nice for myself. The few female friends or associates that I have don't wear makeup, don't look after their nails and don't wear jewellery. They constantly have digs at me for wearing makeup and dressing up all the time. They have let themselves go and look miserable and unkept. I love your advice on grooming, being clean and feminine. Your videos are so refreshing and reassuring that I feel like you are the sister in my life (and for viewers) that has come at the right time. I turn 40 this year and this is the age where some women either let themselves go or they start looking after themselves more to continue looking youthful. I've been putting off dating for a while due to the lockdown and lack of confidence. Your videos have made me feel that 'everything is ok'. I am going to practice 'stillness', cultivate an 'aura' and work on being 'alluring'. Thank you sister.
Hey Dr. Michelle; I really love your channel and tbh, it's getting to me. It was meant for me and I thank God that I came across your channel. Actually, thank you for being consistent. Thank you so much.
You look so beautiful in this top. I just love how you were batting your eyes and I'm just thinking YOU are so feminine because it really is captivating. I remember receiving a compliment about how big and beautiful my eyes are and I could've played them up like this instead of only saying thank you. You're teaching me a lot so thank you. And the last point about God, the same God I believe in is my most non-negotiable standard. ❣
Woow you look gorgeous Michelle!! 💛 I loved this video... let me try answer these questions HONESTLY. All of your femininity videos are really helpful and your live with Toni was so informative! I am definitely getting ready for the post quarantine 😏... Thank youuuu
Ever since the quarantine has started I've came across one of your videos and I fell in love with them thank you for helping me out and more videos to come hopefully 💙
Well done, Sis...100,000 subscribers 🌷 You deserve it 🎉 But sis, your foundation & lippie are Ev-ver-reeee-thing 😍 Actually, the entire makeup look is the bomb...so so pretty!
13:12... Dr. Michelle this is key ...even the wickedest of man understand the principle of being equally yoked. .. do not put your focus on physical appreance or material gains , having the same principles is key.
I don't have a answer for myself. After watching this i can see why I'm failing. The I always know that I was settling, but at the same time I thought that i should give that person a chance redeem themselves. I need to work on standing my ground. Thank you for another enlightening video. I told myself i don't need a 360, I have the capability. I just need to stop letting Bianca go.💟💗💞💫
Dear Dr. Michelle, thank you for your invaluable information. I wish I had this information during the time of my 27 year marriage. I thought I was a terrific wife, but many of your approaches would have made me more terrific or even saved my marriage. I'm so glad to be on this journey to become a better person. Thank you so much. Do you have any recommendations on videos like these specifically for men?
Can you do a video for the ladies who have a great man but have came off too masculine in the relationship ? I had a very hard childhood and your channel is really helping me to soften up . And I want to make changes with the man I have . He has been very patient and very encouraging of my self healing journey 💗
Hi Dr Michelle! I have been loving your videos. I’ve been dressing more feminine and doing my hair and makeup. I’ve been getting a lot more male attention and it makes me feel a bit uncomfortable. I’m not used to it. Do you have any advice on how to work through that?
Hi love, I appreciate your kind words. I'm happy that you are channeling your feminine energy. It will be uncomfortable initially because it is a change and frankly because some male attention is just disturbing. It's important that you are always safe and that will help you feel secure. So certain life decisions will not have to be modified (going out late at night alone, going to gas stations at night etc). But if it's healthy male attention you will need to work on your confidence in order to receive the look or smile and smile back (or not) and carry on. I will do a video to address this because it's an excellent question.
I love this channel BTW. Only recently discovered it. But it is awesome. Like having a big sister on RUclips. Giving advice that not everyone gets to hear.
I appreciate your videos!! Thanks for the info! Namaste 🙏.. p.s. have u done a video on dealing with jealous women? I shine brighter 💥 when all eyez on me ☺️. 💫🌺

How does one get better at receiving? Any books you may recommend that points on this specifically? Proud but not surprised, Congratulations on 100K !!! Woohoo!!
I feel like so many young women (mostly girls in their teens to maybe mid-twenties) think that their worth is defined by whether they are in a relationship or not. Especially in more traditional cultures, for example in Eastern Europe. I remember when I was 14 or 15, feeling ashamed of myself for not having a boyfriend and thinking I must be worthless since no one wants me. How ridiculous is that? It's painful to think now, a couple years later, how many young girls and women put themselves down the same way and reduce their own self worth because of something so trivial as not having a boyfriend. Where I'm at right now in my mentality, I would rather develop myself, get my degree, hang out with friends, meet new people, and when it's time for me to be in a relationship, I trust that the right person will come around. XXX.
Also, PRAYERS , PRAYERS , PRAYERS !! God listens to specific prayers about what YOU want so don’t feel guilty listing what YOU want in YOUR man. He will bring you the MAN HE chose for you according to your specific prayer !!!

Congrats on 100K. You are receiving because of all you have given. You're a blessing!
And we're back here 🥺🥺
another beautiful video I look forward to these! everything from the sultry music to the way you represent female power and energy!
You raise good thoughts and points to consider. Setting standards provides us clarity and helps us stay true to ourselves. One last comment: it's best to focus on *being* the right mate than on finding one. Be our best ethical selves will draw the man worth considering.
Preach sisturr !!
She is like the big sister I never had!! Loooooooooove...
Aww so sweet, thank you love!
Aww thank you, you are so sweet and have been a faithful subscriber for years!! I will always remember your love!
I'm only 21 ,FOR ME it's too young to get marry ,for that reason I'm not dating...
Queren M me too sis! I’m 19 and I don’t even plan on dating in college because I don’t want to get married young lol
SAME!!
Soon you will turn 30 and have HUGE regrets
😂We know what ya really mean instead 🎪🎠🛤304 #I.was.young.and.dumb
Hey Dr. Michelle;
I really love your channel and tbh, it's getting to me. It was meant for me and I thank God that I came across your channel.
Actually, thank you for being consistent. Thank you so much.
Hi Fionna. I am so happy to hear that darling. Yes, God knows what He's doing. I'm so happy you're here. Your life is about to change. Much love.

Always spectacular timing! Sending this to women I've been having this conversation with
That's wonderful, I'm so happy to hear that! Thanks for watching!

Thanks so much for sharing this Dr. Michelle. It's right on time. Your lipstick is everything. Stay safe. ❣️
You are most welcome love! Thank you, same to you dear!
Can you do a video for the ladies who have a great man but have came off too masculine in the relationship ? I had a very hard childhood and your channel is really helping me to soften up . And I want to make changes with the man I have . He has been very patient and very encouraging of my self healing journey 💗
Your makeup and outfit looks sooo good!
Thank you really my english not that good i cant express to you the way you make me feel ❤
Yay!!!! Congratulations! I am so happy for you!!!! And thanks for this series and all of your videos!
Thank you SO much!! You are most welcome love!
I like you. I feel like the other channels talk at us, not really to us...like as a friend.
I appreciate your videos!! Thanks for the info! Namaste 🙏.. p.s. have u done a video on dealing with jealous women? I shine brighter 💥 when all eyez on me ☺️.

Amazing video. Great tips and excellent points. Love this lip color on you! It’s so hard to find a good nude lipstick, what color/brand is it?
Thanks so much... This video just came when I needed it....
You are most welcome darling. I'm so happy to hear that!
XXX.
