I can sing Þat mælti mín móðir from memory, I have loved it so much. Unfortunately, I am the same in having not looked into more songs by Hindarfjäll until now. My life was only poorer until now. May more of us find these gems!

OMG!!! I'm getting chills listening to the song. The past couple of years i been so fascinated with Norsemen history, culture and mythology. Three years ago went to Toronto Royal Ontario Museum which had a Viking exhibition.
@@Grimfrost I wanted to ask you a question. I was told that some or all of you at Grimfrost and/or Amon Amarth are not practicing Heathens, and that you don't really believe in any of the old gods, the "Norse Myths," or the culture/religion of our pre-Christian Heathen ancestors. Is this true? Can you maybe clarify. They basically made you out to be a gimmick who uses your own "Viking" culture to make money while believing the Aesir and Vanir are nothing more than myths. Maybe some of you are Heathen and some are not? It just seems like you have too much invested in this culture to not believe in it.

Who stands on Härfader’s hall
And eats from Lärad’s branches
From the horns drip
drops into Vergelmer,
Whence all waters flow
Ancient power down from root
Up to the blood of gods
Lärad’s branches
Grow within me
