Just saw this video. The WS Game 1 card, shows Bill Mazeroski “9 in front. The game 7 hero. And with Virdon in the outfield is Roberto Clemente.

I am 73 years old. I have lived the dream you are in right now. Being the oldest of 5 boys, I started collecting baseball cards at age 4 in 1955. On Friday’s my father a big sports guy would bring home my 1st baseball cards. 2 1954 Topps wax packs. I was hooked. First off, you are CORRECT, 1952 to 1962 were the legitimate Christmas racks by a 3rd party vendor. MY dad would put a couple Christmas racks in our Christmas stockings at Christmas time. You have the real Christmas racks. Dynamite video, thank you for educating the naysayers. You are right on the money my friend, WELL DONE video. Beware of the FAKES ! The Topps 1962 borders are usually chipped, you have some pristine corners which tell me, you hit it out of the park, especially with the Mays AS, CONGRATULATIONS!

Back in the day they always had the good cards on the front to sell them. The only way there was a good guy in the middle was if he was not popular yet v

That's cool to know and too bad everyone doesn't know. Just like the counterfeit Introducing The Beatles LP- If The Beatles name is under the spindle hole it's a fake. Everybody that knows anything about Beatles records knows that. Great tip

Personally, I’m all for preserving vintage packs/racks in their unopened state. But, pulling that Mays certainly paid off. Nice video, thanks for sharing!

For many people who order 60s and 70s cards who think are getting players from that era,are getting the heritage cards. I personally don't like them!

I loved this video so thank you for taking time to explain the christmas rack packs, their history and the fraudulent aspect to them. I noticed while you opened the 1956 pack that the Al Silvera card had a wax stain on the front, something you said was not possible with a real Christmas rack pack so this one might have been a fake. You should look at it again, closely. IF you stop the video exactly at 28:00, you can see the wax stain in the light reflecting off the front of the card right above his autograph in two different places. I guess it could be a print defect but it looked like wax to me. You also said the '56 cards weren't as nice as the '61 and '62s, which made me wonder if this one had been faked too. Anyway just wanted to post my observations and hopefully you'll take a closer look at let me know what you think. Thanks again! Great stuff here!!!!!
