Absolutly awesome forward thinking, I am very impressed. Start placing cameras on the implements, air seeder, planter cultivator, baler and so on, so the operator can see important functions and clearances at the push of a button, or on a multi view screen. Combine headers as well, a close up view would help avoiding incidents that slow the operator down.
It is to help see lower under the hood area, pulling out into a highway and nosing the tractor into a shed. I like the back up camera on my truck but I often wish I had a camera on the front as well.
I really cringe the more I hear about fully antonymous tractors. If you are in dire need of a tractor that drives it's self. Then cut back on acres and let some of the guys who are just trying to farm full time get the chance. There are so many (small) farmers out there who are chomping at the bit to grow. Thanks For the video Jason.
It's all about money. Imagine having an autonomous tractor driving around doing tillage in the same field you're in, following behind planting. Less labor cost equals more profit.
East NC Farming I don't think they're intended to drive on the road autonomously. I don't think anyone would think that's safe. They're not really made to be left unattended. Have you seen the video explaining their autonomous concept from 2016? The autonomous concept is one operator in the field managing a few autonomous tractors, keeping them on track, servicing, etc.
Wow ....... great info ...... this is the kind of thing i like to see .... more indepth information on new equipment .... it does help in pointing us towards taking a closer look at what will really work for us . .....thank you Earl
What excites me is getting my land paid for and owning income producing property with no inputs but RE taxes. Any machine that helps me to do that in a timely manner at the lowest cost is what I prefer. Nice tractor and informative video....thanks BTP.
The engineer in me says that this is really cool. I took a peak at it just for a second while I was at the show, but only for a second. The small time farmer in me just isn’t impressed with all the bells and whistles. The facts if the matter is that I’ll never be able to utilize all this stuff much less maintain in all in 30+ years. Can you imagine the electrical gremlins something like this while have in 30 years? And it’s not just Case IH, it’s all across the board.
I'd need that guy with me on the buddy seat for at least a week lol. That's like flying a plane to me . The tech is really cool. Can't wait to see it in a field.
Thank you for watching. There are allot of options. I think running it each day it would be easy to get the hang of. Once it’s programmed for a job it’s click and go.
The technology is all new... But if we can see, see the new Case IH Tilt-steering. And the A-post. You can compare it to the Deere. And so many USB Chargers. Nice.
400k don't worry one day the bubble will burst the small farmer priced out of farming today it will be the large farmer tomorrow then the huge corporate farmer then one day back to smaller simpler times the way I see it technology and all the rest can only get you so far and there's only so many hours in a man's day.
I work construction and the best tools come from Germany, period. Buy whatever you want, made in Germany never disappoints and top notch! Sure expensive, but you just cry once. The quality and support is there. The Germans have to watch that the rest of the world is not stealing their advanced manufacturing technology.
Fendt prolly is leader in r&d since 1985. But who can afford a 300,000 us dollar mid horse (170 hp) machine. If money is unlimited Fendt easily out designs Deere case and even fellow German deutz fahr.
I can only imagine the diag cost when one o those buttons starts randomly changing something. More integration in that multi function control than most newer mercedes.
I have not had a chance yet. I did see it in suggested videos. It seems it took both channels about 26 minutes to go through the tractor. I will have to check out Welkers tour of the tractor.
Farmer calls the dealer my tractor is broken this is the error code. We need to replace a solenoid nope still does not fix it, We need to replace a can module, nope still not working o sorry Sir it was this small little wire that is not broken completely but can't handle to much voltage.
Awwww I’m soo sad you deleted the other video and now I wasn’t first. Cause I was sleeping. Love the channel and it inspired me to make my own. You made it look easy but clearly it’s not. No one has been watching my videos. Will some watch them?
I just watched your farm tour. RUclips takes allot of work. I have been posting for 9 years but have only seen allot of growth in the past year. Just feature what you enjoy and keep with it. It can grow but it just takes time.
The Case IH intro was stand out unfortunately RUclips music copy right restrictions on music caused the entire 26 minutes on the original video to get muted. I had to do a revise on the intro.
Ok , I spent 24 years with John Deere as a master field Technician . I switched to working for Deere to CaseIH in around September of 2018 . I like the CaseIH product , but there E Tim program for techs to diagnose and repair equipment is a Dinosaur compaired to Deere . CaseIh is still sending out Books ??? to dealers , Deere stopped that in the 90's . CaseIh needs to step up to the plate if they are going to be around and a competitor in the market , I can tell you , Deere has the Diagnostic info for Techs to get there equipment up and running in a very timely manner , CaseIh is still in the dinosaur age on Technicians diagnostics and repair of customers equipment .
Great Video Thanks so much for uploading it, I still am not sold on the self driving tractor idea, as we have already seen in the demos the computer cannot react like humans in certain situations, several people have been killed by self driving vehicles. Computers have there place but we have to be careful how far we go with it .
It will be interesting to see how farm ag automation goes. There is still work to be done for the driverless tractor. What the current automated machines can do is impressive with an operator in the cab. I know so many farmers that are running a bunch of ground by them selves or with one or two people having a driverless tractor to take care of a task would help them allot.
Looks like that thing will need some massive service from service techs that are already behind on current technology that I have from 5 years ago... and unfortunately when everything is integrated when one thing quits working it effects everything else... and pretty soon you have a really expensive boat anchor until you spend 10k to replace parts because nothing can be diagnosed.... gadgets are great but they don’t get the job done... when he says they don’t own data that is a bunch of crap.... the fine print I guarantee you undoes all his assurances that your data is your data....
At 400k it'll even put the biggest of farmers out of its market nevermind fixing it it's not got what's needed it's got a whole heap of other stuff which only drives up price tag and more to go wrong and more like 50 K service call out if something happens to the tractor we had a 03 cvx 150 which gave trouble it was 25 grand after that it got sold and wasn't sad to see it go ethier.
Ok I know how to work a pause button and Daytona is really the only Nascar race I get fired up for anymore but two big things in this video, Android based and the customer owns the data
Plenty of haters and trolls here. Everything was carefully thought out by designers and engineers and improved on. That's a natural product cycle. Small family farms? They've been shrinking since mechanized equipment has come about. Big articulating 4x4's, especially. As a nation develops and becomes more hi-tech, the economy becomes more specialized and based less on more labor-intensive industries. Farms will continue to shrink as cities and other development grows, as more acres can be handled by fewer tractors and persons, and countries like Brazil ramp up grain exports and can do it 30-45 cents cheaper than us. There's plenty of used equipment on the market, and to a degree, the most desirable will indeed run a premium. Just being honest though, those that adapt to the changing headwinds and embrace new generations of these tractors have the best chances of succeeding.
Thank you for sharing a well thought out posts. I know many father son operations running a few thousand acres with just two people. More automated machines will help the family farm get their work done.
This is some tractor. Looks inside like a sports car very nice creature comfort. One thing gets me disappointed. If your Right Handed great, Left Handed it sucks. Both Cat & SDLG found 2 segments for buyers. Those who absolutely need it fine, others say reliability and less technology are more vital to them. These new models are whats now with latest that can be made. If you can afford it, why not, i would. Very Hollywood intro on this, i laughed. Toshiba, Canon dose it too, Hope to see new videos of the new Magnums in future. Thank's for the new video, i enjoyed it. 👍🚜

John Deere has copied from Case IH in the past, with their most recent attempt being to copy the Quadtrac in 2015 with their RX and even that was a poor attempt when compared to the Quadtrac, which when speaking just on power alone I've seen two equally powered 4-track tractors put head to head in a pulling matchup against each other. It was no surprise that the Case tractor drug John Deere backward. I suspect in years to come that John Deere will put out an "original" smart tractor that will appear eerily similar to Case's product, of course as soon as the patent expires on the Case. I'm not saying John Deere makes bad products but they are way, way overpriced for what you get.
The setup of the controls for multiple operators without ever leaving the cab to swap hoses is fantastic.
Absolutly awesome forward thinking, I am very impressed. Amazing! A camera on the front so you can see on a smaller screen what your already looking at through the windshield!
Amazing!

Gotta give it to Case it does look pretty damn nice
Tks got sharing the video with us all. Case IH has really come along. Now I need to win the Lottery

That ram mount is awesome. It would be nice to see this in all tractors.

Exactly would never work for moving on the road either and it takes the fun away from farming

Michael Taylor the biggest problem I have with it is moving on the road it wouldn’t work for a lot of operations

Beautiful tractor, I like the new body or nose look. Thanks for being there,
Thank you for watching. It is a neat show to attend?
Camera is fine in dandy till you make 1 pass in a field and its already covered in dust
There is a solution for that, and its not windex.
You could say that about a backup camera on a vehicle that drives down gravel roads on a daily.
Thats an amazing tractor!
It is impressive.
I can’t wait to start planting with mine. Gonna be a learning curve on the new 1200 monitor compared to
The pro 700
What model did you add to your farm?
The older 4786's can run the same size implements the newest ones can to a point.(These can run 12 bottom plows and McKenzie 24 row planters)
I am one of your biggest fans I have watched every single video
Wow thank you. 1,300 plus videos is an impressive account.

I did. The promo video for the autonomous Magnum was filmed here in Kentucky at one of the farms I film at each year. It is a stand out machine.

Nope

Modern tractors are very rounded in their styling. The big square iron look of the 70’s is a great classic look.
