Dolby Atmos Control Room at SFS

Scott Frankfurt Studio announces a new Dolby Atmos Control Room featuring immersive Genelec monitoring in a 7.1.4 physical configuration optimized for music mixing. The installation features Digital Audio Denmark AD/DA convertors, Avid interfaces and control surfaces, and custom mounting solutions for the speakers, which offer precision aim and new aesthetics to the studio.
The system has been meticulously realized and tuned with guidance from industry specialists Ceri Thomas (Dolby) and Josue Catalan for top-of-the-line performance using the latest technologies available. Legacy stereo monitoring has also been cleverly maintained to offer previous clients an identical reference for their stereo assets.

The first Atmos mixes to be created by Frankfurt will be featured in an upcoming release from legendary supergroup The Temptations on their 60th anniversary album, due in early 2022.
