Thanks for your time and reaction. Diana has a contralto voice type, very rare. She started voice and acting lessons at a very young age. Her stage performance is stellar. When speaking she sounds like a normal alto voice type ( lower but not deep). Can sing most genres and many different languages. I believe she was 14 yrs possibly just turned 15 for this performance. Born May 31 2003. Thanks again.

Diana brought me to you, your reaction got me to subscribe. Diana Ankudinova "The Russian Treasure" is one of my favorite singers. Even when she sings in Russian (or French) and I don't understand the words I still feel the emotion. Only 1 other singer affects me more, Angelina Jordan - "The Barefoot Singer With The Velvet Voice And A Mona Lisa Smile". If you like Diana wait to you hear Angelina.

Yeah! Dianna is not only a unique singer, she is a good performer + emotional transmitter. Lady goosebumps.
Good reaction; don't worry about pausing a few times. This *is* one of her better performances, but there are two others you *really* should check out: 'Human', and 'Rechenka'.
Rechenka is about an orphaned girl who is supposed to marry someone she doesn't love, so she goes down to the river (the border between the living and the dead) to ask her mother for her advice. Beautiful and sad and haunting! She performed it for the TV show "You're Super!", when she was only *14 years old!* What a performance!
