Great review, thanks. Just a note about the switching at 8:20, the AN8002 is a 6000 count so it wouldn't switch at 0.641V, (as demonstrated), it would need to be below 0.600V. Note that the AN8008 is, unusually, a 9999 count, not a 9000 count. Great little meters regardless.
MrToM yes both meters are very good for the price and low voltage stuff I do, I won’t stick it main voltage.

Hehe... Overall I'm quite impressed with this meter although Dave Jones couldn't bring himself to give it a thumbs up. I have other meters but figured the low ranges with this could be useful. Dave is a total meter snob though.

Sir i think my digital multimeter is defective. When i go to Milivolts ac/dc, the meter is auto-reading even if i am doing nothing and the screen reading keeps on increasing over time. Is it grounded?
I have no idea witjout seeing it, but in mV it is so sensitive that it just pick up everything when the probes are open, so if you don't meassure anything any source you will allways have some reading.
@@thsinger Thanks for the reply. It is proven defective, it behaves abnormally. I returned it to the seller and replaced with different multimeter brand--and it's perfectly working.

Just wondering.... Do you (or anyone reading this) know of a SUPER INEXPENSIVE DMM that will simply test household batteries (9v, 1.5v) under load, test continuity with sound and test impedience? This is for guitar repair- I'm putting guitar maintenance kits together for players who want to do their own work. I am asking this same question on several other good YT DMM videos, so don't be surprised if you see me asking elsewhere. Thanks in advance.
Just look for a meter at your local store that has a battery test feature. Och in Deutsch ist das viel zu einfach, es gibt wohl Gründe warum die meisten das in Englisch machen.
ja sorry aber in englisch machen es schon so viele nur in deutsch nicht und es soll ja menschen geben die kein englisch können zB die aus den neuen bundesländern die eher russich gelernt haben in der Schule une wie gesagt in englisch machen es ja schon mehr als genug aber egal ich kann englisch ich finds nur blöde diese angeberei mit dem englisch nur mal so gesagt
ach noch vergessen war nicht böse gemeint aber was solls und der blöde spruch in deutsch wäre es viel zu einfach ist einfach nur bescheiden -:(

nur schade für alle die kein englisch können da es für englischsprachige ja genügend gibt nur ibn deutscgh fast nix brauchbares und wenn dann oft sehr albern gehalten und in englscih gibt es eben jede menge gute bereits daher meinte ich deutsch wäre mal gut aber ok für mich nicht das problem aber ich sehe es mir f´dann gleich in gutenm englisch an -:)
