I was listening to this today while at work and was smiling due to how Pastor Bhor was walking through the Scriptures. Pastor Rafferty was enjoying it too. Ah-mazing!!!
Always great to get clarification on questions.. I thought I was the only one wondering about.. thank you, I dream for the day that we can all be together with Christ and experience his eternal grace and love.
Happy Sabbath Day all i love these studies and all of Walter Veiths studies too .... i dont seem to be able to get away with pavel goya but i found a pastir called Ivor Myers who i really enjoy i love his style and his testimony too having a similar journey into Biblical Christianity since 2011 ... would love to find some more like Walter or Pastor Bohr ... i did start watching Hal Mayer but have only listened to maybe 3 of his sermons .. have a Blessed Sabbath Day Remnant and all ... He that begins a good work in you WILL see it COMPLETED. id love to see a study about how Marriage and Sabbath were in the world before sin was in it and about how love endures the grave ... also about the sin of Adam and Eve what the eating did to them physically and mentally and the sin of disobeying God those are 2 seperate sins and each had effects on the physical world around us
I don't think so, and by the way they are three- Zechariah the writer, son of Berechiah who was matryed and John the Baptist's dad, but you can research further
The special resurrection at the resurrection of Jesus is not as massive and widespread. These were martyrs... people who die of old age are not martyrs. The 2nd coming of Jesus will be a massive resurrection. After 1000 years in Heaven, the evil people will be resurrected ONLY to die and snuffed out eternally-- they will rise ONLY to see the truth about Jesus... the Bible is Awesome.
Wow, for years I had read about the three resurrections, and including the special resurrection. But for some reason the special resurrection it never clicked on me as a resurrection. Now I’m going to have to retrain myself to talk about the four resurrections. Even in my church setting, people are so brain washed. That they always want to argue about anything that sounds remotely different. Am I correct in saying that the Bible clearly says that there are three resurrections.
It's correct there are three resurrections but many wouldn't say the Bible clearly says that. In Revelation 20:5 it says, "But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection." That verse clearly shows there are two resurrections. For the special resurrection go to Revelation 1:7 where it says, "Behold he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen." Notice that in this resurrection Jesus is coming in the clouds and those who pierced him (had an active part in crucifying him) will be resurrected to see him come. Daniel 12:2 also is describing the special resurrection where it says, "And many of then that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt." An excellent book to read in it's entirety is The Great Controversy by Ellen G. White. On page 637 in describing the special resurrection it says: "Graves are opened, and 'many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth...awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.' Daniel 12:2. All who have died in the faith of the third angel's message come forth from the tomb glorified, to hear God's covenant of peace with those who have kept His law. 'They also which pierced Him' (Revelation 1:7), those that mocked and derided Christ's dying agonies, and the most violent opposers of His truth and His people, are raised to behold Him in His glory and to see the honor placed upon the loyal and obedient."
At Pastor Bohr's website he has a download available called Resurrections In The Bible. Its a fascinating study. Many other short papers are also available.
@@martinlohne5128 You might want to correct your GC in that quote. They omitted "keeping the Sabbath" in the 1884, 1888 and 1911 editions (quite important too, as one can't separate the Sabbath from the 3rd angel message or the law...) and they also changed the "with those who had kept his law" (past tense) to "who have kept his law" (present tense), here: "The graves were shaken open, and those who had died in faith under the third angel's message, KEEPING THE SABBATH, came forth from their dusty beds, glorified, to hear the covenant of peace that God was to make with those who HAD KEPT his law." {1SG 205.2} (1858 GC) "Graves are opened, and “many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth” “awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.” [Daniel 12:2.] All who have died in faith under the third angel's message come forth from the tomb glorified, to hear God's covenant of peace with those who have kept his law..." {4SP 454.1} (1884 GC) "Graves are opened, and “many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth” “awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.” [Daniel 12:2.] All who have died in the faith of the third angel's message come forth from the tomb glorified, to hear God's covenant of peace with those who have kept his law...“ {GC88 637.1} (reads just as the 1911 GC)
@@ligadosafonte777 Hello Miguel, I'm glad people other than myself care about things like this. That said, I have rechecked the quote I submitted and it is correct. You are in error about a couple of things. Both "with those who had kept his law" and "who have kept his law" are in past tense. Present tense would be "those who are keeping his law." You are correct in saying that you can't separate keeping the Sabbath from the third angel's message. It is true that the 1911 edition words things differently than some of Sister White's other writings but in saying "died in the faith of the third angel's message" it DOES include Sabbath keeping since, as you said, you can't separate Sabbath keeping from the third angel's message.
God bless you. But the book of Zakaria is not written by the martyr Zakaria. Jesus mentioned his father name but the stoned Zakaria has lived there long before the prophet Zakaria (the one who wrote the book after the captivity of Babylon). There must be an advanced study on the subject. And keep the good work.
